Glasto will be the first pro footage of some new material.
I believe Liam is Saturday night, penultimate act with The Killers closing.
It’s 90 minutes from my house, I’ll be dipping in and out as I’m not excited about many of the acts.

Too much pop music. Glad I didn't get tickets now. Too costly to travel for that lot. I'm surprised no Noel and no Macca!

How out of place does Liam's name look on that line up.

Pohoda music festival looks lovely.
Liam Gallagher and Mac Demarco.
Festival capacity is limited to 30,000 visitors. Nice.
Beatiful small town with medieval castle. Nice.
Slovakia don´t recognize Kosovo :-) :-) :-) Nice.
Lots of squatting Slavs in Adisas tracksuits. Beatiful.

And once again no dates in Poland. As per usual, all the major festivals announced absolute shite as the headliners. For fuck's sake! I planned to see Liam in Slovakia, but might change my plans and attend the Kiev gig after all. The tickets, flights and accomodation are dirt cheap and the date makes it possible for me to go see Liam without taking a day off.

I'm tempted for Kiev, never been there before, plane and room from London are cheap, a few things I want to see in the city too so really tempting for the 3 day pass, might even do full one in case I fancy seeing someone else (not that i've heard of most of them )

isn't liam bigger than the killers in uk? I can stay at the Pyramid stage all day, starting with The Proclaimers. Awesome. I wonder how Janet will react being the opener for Liam and The Killers?

Perfect slot for Liam, that.
Crisp hour and bit, dusk, while everyone is nicely oiled!

isn't liam bigger than the killers in uk? as a personality definately, not as a solo artist though. but I'm sure that slot suits him. I think there would be more of an argument for him headlining if his 2nd album had come out first.

Maybe it would but theres not alot in it. I know locally here their arena gig didnt sell out and Liams obviously did in minutes. There's certainly not alot in it at all. The killers some years ago is a different story but like you said, Liams name and the fact hes doing so many Oasis songs make him pretty huge here now. There was that story that Reading Leeds Festival organisers were unsure about giving him the second spot a couple of years ago and he ended up being one of the most watched of the whole event. I think its more of a case of the Killers being tried and tested in that slot and that gives them the edge. It's just such a lacklustre set of acts this year. I was gutted to miss out on tickets but I'm so glad I did now. Theyre clearly focused on making next years 50th a huge event.

If you take Liams Oasis history into account then he is obviously bigger but as a solo artist, which you assume is what the decision is based on, he only has one album whereas the Killers have a more extensive back catalogue with arguably two classic albums in there. Of course there comes a point where current popularity outweighs historical performance and I'd say that will come if this new LG album blows up.
