Can't believe I watched the whole thing. I never want to see Davies or Schneiderlin in an EFC shirt again. Not that the others were much better. Pickford and Coleman are on real thin ice now and previously solid people like Keane and Richarlison were dire aswell. We desperately need Gueye back in the side and some decent signings in January or we'll be lower than 11th before long.

The likes of Giggs, Maldini and Totti are one club men. Gerrard played for two clubs. Doesn't matter if he played for one year, two years, one game.

off topic, but i recently got into a discussion/arguement with a friend of mine over whether gerrard is still considered a 'one club man'. i say he isnt, he says the MLS doesnt count and he is. thoughts? I mean, in the strictest definition of the phrase you're correct as he has played professional football for more than one club. Tony Adams of Arsenal would be the prime example here. However, I agree with your friend. Gerrard was a product of Liverpool's academy and spent 17 years with the Liverpool's first team. He went to the MLS, like many do, to retire. I would not hold Gerrard's one year with the LA Galaxy against him here - to me, Gerrard is still a one club man. As you were x. EDIT - I just found this link (which I completely agree with): www.sbnation.com/soccer/2015/1/8/7514467/steven-gerrard-la-galaxy-liverpool-one-club-manwhoever wrote that is just trying to make excuses and sounds kinda pathetic. for me, gerrard is not only NOT a one club man anymore, but he switched teams for possibly the worst reason there is...money.

Jurgen Klopp: Liverpool boss says Chelsea & Arsenal still in title race You can make the argument that 11 points off the pace with half the season left is just about clinging on to the title race, but realistically we would need a miracle. But Arsenal beating Liverpool next week would definitely make things more interesting. www.bbc.com/sport/football/46673800

He would have been offered plenty more money at much bigger teams throughout his time at Liverpool.

A lot of teams involved that will be taking points of each other 11 points is within reach. Anyone but Liverpool is all i am hoping for.

What about a short loan spell at the begining of a career?

It shows that it was only part of the reason, he went to an easier league at the end of his career its becoming more common.

I still can't quite figure out how he won the Premier League. And I also can't quite figure out if Leicester winning the league cheapened the competition - in the sense that if Leicester can win the league then anyone can? Isn't that a very good thing? Sorry for replying to an old post.

im not gonna debate on the reasons why he left or how common its become. just that he did leave, and that should exclude him from being considered a 'one club man'...

City have shit themselves. They're not looking too good right now, but let me remind you that City were eight points behind with five games left in 2012, and six points behind with four games left in 2014. They're currently seven points behind with 19 games to go. Still plenty of football left to be played.

Just saw the Liverpool-Arsenal match. We were absolutely shambolic. Emery’s honeymoon period is over - welcome back to Arsenal’s disgraceful normality.

not as grand as pulisic, but for someone who has an attachment to west ham, im looking forward to seeing nasri play again...even tho hes as inconsistent and lazy as ozil, he pulls out some amazing stuff at times.

He'll play more than what he does at Dortmund right now, but if he didnt perform he'll be the next Morata

It's not that he's a bench player, he played almost as much as Sancho but Sancho plays on another level this year and is the greatest talent under 20 imo. For Pulisic I just fear that he's leaving a year or two to early and to the wrong club. He's a Klopp player.

Want Liverpool to lose so they don’t go the full season unbeaten.
Want Man City to lose to help Arsenal in their quest for a top 4 position.
Tough one.

Most of the time when you say it was tactical match it's an euphemism for a boring game but that was a great game to watch. Guardiola made great adjustments they dominated the midfield and were brilliant defensively. The way Guardiola outdone Liverpool's midfield pressing was brilliant. He tried that in the first leg of the Cl game but they failed due to the fact that guardiolas never looked comfortable defending deep. That has definitely changed now.
