English is not my native language even if I am bilingual. I sometimes have to check if some expressions found in songs really exist or if it's just the artist twisting and playing with words and expressions to for the song.
So Ballroom Figured, is that just Gem playing with words? You can't actually say that right?

Even as a native speaker of English, I still have no idea what "Ballroom Figured" means. Of course, I know what "ballroom" and "figured" mean but I have no idea what Gem was getting at when he combined those two words into a phrase. It doesn't help that the song's lyrics don't contain the phrase and don't seem to be even remotely related.
Perhaps it's some Britishism that I'm not familiar with (because I'm American)? Either that, or it's some nonsense thing that Gem came up with that he thought was so clever but really isn't.

Don't know, my only vaguely coherent guess is ballroom figured meaning being in a pose like a ballroom dancer or looking like a ballroom dancer (whatever that implies). Only slightly related lyric I can see is "A sound we're dancing around". Other than that, nothing.

The only thing that springs to mind is finding that ideal combination of correct fitting underwear and trousers (pants to you IIRC? ) which is comfortable for one's privates, hence "ballroom figured"* * If it helps I'm a British native English speaker and those two words together as a title make no sense to me either, so I'd go with a nonsense title from Gem as the explanation.

I've always found that to be kind of a creative line, not something cheesy or nonsensical. It has multiple connotations and could mean something, unlike Ballroom Figured which means little to nothing.
