Windows 10, Toshiba Laptop
Synopsis: None of my Bluetooth Wireless Headphones (Beats and Bose) are working on Windows 10, but they work perfectly with iPhone and iPad. Pair and Connect with Windows 10 and sound works at first, only to stop working.
Problem: The bluetooth wireless headphones pair and connect to Windows 10 fine. They play sound at first, but if I pause the media (audio or video) and then return to it, or try to play something else, the sound no longer works - even though the headphone device is still showing that it connected.
If I disconnect the bluetooth headphones and then re-connect, the sound starts normally again, only for the problem to repeat itself.
I've tried: I've researched this problem and tried everything I've found, but no luck.... I've tried re-installing the drivers. I've tried enabling the headphones as "Default" in the Sound Playback options. I've tried disabling microphone in Sound Recording options I've tried enabling (and disabling) the Sound Enhancements
I can't figure this out and it's doing my head in. I'm sure its a simple fix but I can't figure this out at all.
Conclusion: Again, bluetooth wireless headphones play fine on other devices (iPhone and iPad). And they Pair and Connect fine on Windows 10 and play sound only for the sound to stop working.
HELP!!! Thanks.

Driver, look at Devices manager in control panel. Update driver to see if it works, disable and re-enable driver if it doesn't work. How far are the headphones to the computer? 63 ft is the average range not counting walls. Look on manufacturer's website. Last and not least in device manager uninstall and go into action and scan for new hardware. It will re-install the device. All fails, a dongle for Bluetooth is 10 bucks via USB.
