That will guarantee him a > 6.6 score in the review of WBTM.

RichDork don't deserve him.
Definitely Maybe retrospectively reviewed 8.8? Morning Glory only 0.1 higher than that? The piss-taking bastards...

When people ask me if I like reading music reviews I say yes. But not Pitchfork, Pitchfork can fuck off

I feel like when I read pitchfork reviews I get all the backstory and minutiae of the process and greater context within the musical landscape, but never find out how the album made the writer feel. Which is the f*cking point of music. It's soulless reviewing. The best example for me that illustrates this are their reviews for Jason Isbell. They just completely miss the humanity in his music. I'm someone who generally will agree with the greater temp of reviews, and am someone who will openly say I don't think Oasis/Gallagher's are the best, but they are certainly my favorite. I get a lot of the criticism. I also don't like Radiohead, but I appreciate them. Sorry, a rambling way to put it. In short, I think Pitchfork is a really knowledgeable publication, that just doesn't get it. They'll circle the tub and never find the drain so to speak.

How hot were the lights in this room?!
Brilliant mustache response. The comments about Ed Sheeran were the kind of thing he wouldn’t have said 20 years ago, and I mean that in a good way.
