Serbia gonna win against Brazil and lose the other 2 Like always WC 2010 Serbia - Ghana 0:1 Serbia - Germany 1:0 Serbia - Australia 1:2 Marko Pantalić almost saved us against Australia <3 Still by far my favorite WC game is against Argentina in 2006 when we lost 6:0. It was on my birthday and we all got drunk even before the game started at 3pm

It was on my birthday and we all got drunk even before the game started at 3pm I am much more into basketball and I have many basketball national team jerseys but in 2006 was the only time that I bought football national team jersey. And then we were the worst team on that WC and it was embarrassing to wear that jersey I was so angry that I wasted my money but now I am glad that I have that jersey. It is the only time when we played under the name Serbia and Montenegro so now it kind of have historical value I already forgot that country ever existed, my kids will probably look at that jersey and think, what the fuck is that The greatest thing about that WC was when our national team head coach said before WC: ''I can't promise to you that we will win this WC but I can promise to you that we won't ''

Paolo Guerrero to miss World Cup due to coke use. Ridiculous. I'd be surprised if coke enhances an athletic performance.

That's one of the reasons why I'm heavily against the war on drugs. Using coke at party gives you the same ban as using doping to improve your game (cheating). Fuck's sake.

If the take ANY sort of drugs, then they know they could get a ban for any sort of drug

Using coke at party gives you the same ban as using doping to improve your game (cheating). Fuck's sake. I'm the opposite, I'm all for it...surely if there is a line (no pun intended) then they know what they should and shouldn't do. If the take ANY sort of drugs, then they know they could get a ban for any sort of drug Cocaine is much better drug for people who compete in sports compared to alcohol. If you drink too much alcohol it'll have negative effects for days after drinking. Recreational use of cocaine has less negative effects afterwards. I followed the case very closely. CSKA Moscow and Roman Eremenko had a big victory in Russian league during the weekend and the whole team celebrated it. The following is speculation, but I believe that instead of drinking alcohol some players used cocaine during the night. They had Champions league game next Tuesday and cocaine usually leaves the body in 3 days so using it was relatively safe. But UEFA did find some traces of cocaine in his blood and now he's unfairly banned for 2 years. "But drugs are illegal, blah blah..." it doesn't matter because it was a DOPING ban, not because of drugs. Which is really fucking stupid because it won't improve your performance. And I won't start preaching about the war on drugs. I'm just saying that all drugs should be decriminalized and maybe even legalized. Anyone who has read about the subject will understand it'd be the best for everyone (except for corrupted governments and politicians). Just look at what happened in Portugal. Edit. I'm not defending his action because using drugs, including alcohol, isn't something you should do mid-season, it's stupid. But then again, it's not doping so if someone uses substance that will have negative effects on your performance, shouldn't it be the team's business, not UEFA's? First of all, I don't like the War On Drugs because now they're throwing users to jail instead of giving them help. Football players getting banned (risk of even more drug abuse) instead of giving them a chance to get some help. That's the opposite of justice and the reason why drugs should be decriminalized.

the punishments can be somewhat different. for example, the FA, UEFA or whoever cant automatically ban a player who has tested positive for recreational drugs unless that test was taken on a match day. random testings done at training, home etc wont be punishable by the governing body. but the clubs still have a right to ban them. im also pretty sure theyre not being banned under anti-doping guidelines, instead the club bans/fines them under their code of conduct rules, which usually include moral clauses aswell as fitness standards.
mutu was banned for coke aswell. jake livermore, mark bosnich, paul merson, possibly kolo toure and of course diego. im also certain i remember joe cole getting away with it, after admitting he does lines recreationally. walker was 'caught' taking bulbs/whippets/nos. but its not (or wasnt at the time) illegal, so it wasnt taken further. berahino was banned for an unnamed recreational drug.

In Eremenko's case CSKA tried everything to get Eremenko out of the ban but UEFA still banned him for full 2 years. Usually when a player gets caught for drug use in England the ban is barely nothing. Almost every player has been getting away with under 2 years band but Eremenko got full 2 years... As a Finn this bothers me. He was playing the best football in his life, there were rumours of him moving to bigger teams like Manchester City and he was the top scorer of Russian league the previous season. He was also clearly the best player in our national team.

I've had a dream last night. The final was Russia - Uruguay. 1-1 after 90 minutes but at the last minute, Putin (who replaced the usual striker 10 minutes before) scored with a header, giving the world cup to Russia. Mark my words. Russia will win the world cup.
