Was there in 2002 and won't be there in 2018. I must be getting old but these huge gigs just don't excite me anymore. I'll leave it to Liam's new troop of young fans I think!

Really enjoyed it, didn't have to queue at the bar, toilets were borderline clean. If I were flush, I'd consider doing it again.

I get what you mean - these gigs are brilliant for every die hard fan whose followed his every step, but in particular, they're most special for the young folk. Let's remember that Liam hasn't been given this capacity crowd in almost 9 years. A lot of folk were just young kids when Oasis split, so have never experienced this kind of hype before with Liam. For those who have experienced Oasis, of course it's going to be great but we know what we're in for. But it's going to be a hell of an experience for the young folk in particular who have no conception of this. And so begins the cycle of new fans that secures his and Oasis's legacy. Cherry on the cake for what has been a real comeback after being in the wilderness for 8 years.

Cherry on the cake for what has been a real comeback after being in the wilderness for 8 years. Completely agreed. My friend in England asked me if I want to join him for this Finsbury show (he's been an Oasis fan and seen the lads since 1995). I thanked him, but said No. I'm not keen on a huge stadium style gig and I'm seeing Liam in March anyway.

Is there a separate standing area 2 watch gig with vip ticket The info says "General admission ticket" so I think it's the same standing area.

Me and a couple mates going so far.
Not a big fan of London and said I wouldn't go back for a gig after The Libertines at Hyde Park, but I'm willing to make an exception for LG.

Going to try to get a ticket. Will likely be travelling down on my own, but couldn't care less. You can miss out on some great experiences in life by constantly relying on others.

Need to save up for plane tickets + hotel, but I'll be there. If you're comfortable I'd suggest sleeping in hostels because it's so much cheaper. There should be locks so you can put your stuff there and don't have to worry about anything. Higher rating hostels in booking.com looked really nice actually. The one I was looking had their own bar too

Would be cool if Ocean Colour Scene played there. I'd love to see them live.
