I can't be arsed to compile a list of all of Liam's songs from Little James to those on As You Were. Some one else can do that if they want.
I'm talking solely Liam Gallagher written...no collaboration. What's his best song?
Surely, surely, it's I've All I Need. Beautiful burst of Britpop coming out of know where.

Guess God thinks I'm Abel for me still, though Universal Gleam is bloody brilliant.

From the live versions i didn't think Universal Gleam will be my favorite Liam tune but after hearing it in the album, i am impressed. Definitely my favorite at the moment.

Start Anew is underrated. He's also credited on Soul Love, which is amazing.

Bold rounds off a top three that started with Songbird and I'm Outta Time. They are interchangeable really, and although I despise the production on I'm Outta Time, at the heart of it, it is a great little tune. Lily Allen's Live Lounge cover of it in 2008 is great in my opinion, showing off its true qualities.
I think I only ever listened to that Bold clip from the Irish bar twice, and that was a couple of years ago. But the fact I remember the tune so clearly is testament to its staying power. Thankfully, his production team got the recording of this one spot on - could not have wished for better. A slightly faster tempo and nice little instrumental subtleties to stop it plodding (no doubt this would have occurred in Beady Eye or latter Oasis).

When you actually see all the songs he's written it's impressive. He puts himself down a lot as a songwriter but I think there are a lot worse out there who call themselves professionals.

Couldnt agree more mate. Its sad that people don't associate him as a song writer because he has written some classics, many of which are on as you were

I wonder how much being associated with Noel harms his credentials? If Liam was an independent artist and wasn't related to Noel nor part of Oasis, would his [Liam's] songs be seen in a more positive light?
