can someone in the UK confirm that Greedy Soul's time is now displayed on Apple Music/iTunes? UK here (Scotland) Just checked, Apple Music is only showing times for 'Wall of Glass', 'For What Its Worth' and 'Chinatown' I'm in the US and as of yesterday iTunes didn't show a time for FWIW, it does today. Nothing for Greedy Soul other than Album Only.

A new song is coming, that begins to be almost sure after that announcement...but if it is the lead single, it´s amazing the lack of build up it´s getting. Build up is not announcing it a day or two before it comes out...but if it´s a track just to keep the momentum going, something like Greedy Soul then i understand. But For All It´s Worth should only be released 3/4 weeks before the record comes out, mid September or so but if by chance it´s the track it´s coming out now...then it´s a very questionable call in terms of strategy, not only because of the distance to the actual record release but mainly because of the lack of build up. No teasers like they did with Wall of Glass, nothing, just saying it will come out some days before it actually comes out...brings me back some memories of DGSS build up and not good ones. We are also ALL assuming "For What It's Worth" is this big anthem awesome amazing tune. What if its not that good? I hope the hype doesn't derail this one like so many in the past (Stop The Clocks, Record Machine, If I Had A Gun, The Dying Of The Light, etc).

I actually liked The Dying of the Light although i get why you say it did derail the hype. In my opinion it was a good song but did not live up to the hype. Agree with you 100% on the other ones, specially on If I Had A Gun. We are all assuming based on what´s being told which can end up being a mistake because sometimes who creates stuff has the tendency to over hype it. But heck, it can´t be worse than Bring The Light.

I've successfully avoided all new live material. Just studio tracks for me. I like Wall of Glass a lot more than Chinatown. Has too much Beady Eye vibes going on with the lyrics but its not bad bad. Just ok. Cool sounds and keyboard. Turn it up more! I've read a lot of the live reviews for the other tracks. Seems to be hit or miss on some. People seem to like Paper Crown a lot. Maybe that will be the big boy tune of the album? I'm hoping For What Its Worth is more in the vein of Wall of Glass and not Chinatown or an Eh La or whatever the fuck its called. Strange title indeed! Most peculiar!

I have no hype for this song, just going to take it as it comes as there is no certainty it will be good. I am excited but cautious and I can't remember hype doing much good for anything.

Strange title indeed! Most peculiar! As a whole i also like WoG more because it´s a more catchy tune and i find it me listening to it even now although the frequency of it has reduced a lot mainly because at the end of the day i still find it a bit repetitive, the chorus should have been much better i´ll be blunt. Chinatown i like it to be fair. It´s a nice little tune, something that i did not expect to see in a Liam related project, a nice change of style. Paper Crown is not one of my favorites, it´s listenable and on particular state of minds i think it´s a very warming song but for me Bold, I Get By and even Greedy Soul are what i liked the most so far. Eh La is a disgrace, i could barely listen to Liam singing on the video that was posted here, i understand the song is a tribute but big meh. I´m with you on For What It´s Worth, i really hope it´s the mega tune it´s being hyped as. If not, while he started out with a bang with Wall of Glass, he runs the risk of crashing and burning still.

GETTING HYPED FOR 2 AM!!! I'm with you mate. Can't wait! Just hope people don't expect the second coming of Champagne Supernova or anything like that. Otherwise, this place will self-destruct. I hope people keep their expectations in check and give the track a few proper listens before lambasting it. Man, I hope people realize we're lucky Liam is releasing any music at all.

Just no one knew about it It's not bad. It's a slow burner and I like the piano in it but it was definitely over hyped prior to release because of the endless listening of the soundcheck recording by this forum. Very similar to what happened to If I Had A Gun. Similar fates. Similar songs. These are the types of songs I no longer want from Noel.

UK here (Scotland) Just checked, Apple Music is only showing times for 'Wall of Glass', 'For What Its Worth' and 'Chinatown' Same here. iTunes UK store. Just wanted to disprove the theory about Greedy Soul being a UK Single/FWIW a US Single. Looks like we're eating next week, boys!

My predictions: people will love the song, people will despise it - after a listen or 2 people will love Liam more, people will despise him more; people will love his shorts, people will continue to hate them. It'll be Friday. ✌️

It's about the UK tour? I saw some dates already on twitter if they are true. edit: Glasgow Barrowland 6th November (?) One wee thing, I know the date is on google showing the 6th of November but it could be a mistake? Just a daft thing but could the date may have been entered the wrong way around? 6.11.17 - 6th November 2017 Or 11.6.17 - 11th June 2017 Liam did play the Barrowlands on the 11th of June 2017 but I could just be reading into a coincidence. Yeah, this might be where the rumor started and is spreading on twitter.

Imagine the scenes if it´s the studio version of Eh La. For What It's Worth...........it's called Eh La! That would be the biggest mistake in Gallagher´s music history. Even worse than Bring the Light or putting Little James and A Quick Peep on a album.
