I really dislike WOG live. Especially here. It's so quiet. If there's one thing Beady Eye did right, was to ensure that all of their songs had instrumentation going on. Always a little noise. A full sound. Lots of these songs we here live are just bare bones it seems like. Beady Eye as a live band were absolutely brilliant. I expected Liam to know his shit a bit more and certainly if not him, the people around him. He literally just got together with whoever was interested. Noel kind of did the same but in the main his band sound/sounded decent if not spectacular.

Will be interesting to see what his record sales will be for the month of August.
"Viewers tuned in for the first relaxed sit-down with Anthony Scaramucci.
With several days to bait his audience with his coup booking, Stephen Colbert hosted the onetime White House communications director last night — and early Nielsen returns have it as the Late Show host's best ratings ever for a Monday telecast.
In metered markets, the episode averaged a 3.1 overnight rating among households. That nearly beats the night's other series — Jimmy Fallon (1.6) and Jimmy Kimmel (1.6) — combined. The episode also ties a recent May episode as Colbert's best regularly scheduled telecast since his premiere month in September 2015.
Colbert has been hanging on tight to his winning streak among total viewers over NBC's Fallon. The last month saw two of his largest margins of victory to date.
Monday also brought a less familiar pop in the key demo of adults 18-49. The measure, where Colbert typically ranks No. 2, saw early returns in select markets give the show a winning 0.7 rating.
As for the most recent week, Colbert did not beat Fallon by as much as he's recently grown accustomed to. As for the demo, Kimmel scored second-place status to push Colbert down to third."

I really don't understand why the mining bullshit is still going on. I thought we got away from this shit?
I believe it's the tv show and/or broadcasters that make that decision but why? What's the fucking point of the band turning up then? Just watch the god damn music video if that's the case. Sorry, this just irks the fuck out of me....

It's a good performance, but I'm not sure how I feel about FWIW being used as a single to promote the upcoming album. Songs like WOG and Greedy Soul would draw more in. Liam needs to promote the 'rockstar' image.

The Roller is in the same vein of FWIW and that was meant to be the big promotional single off the first album. I wouldnt call SBOTA a great rocking lead single either. Same mistakes being made again in my opinion.

Of course he is not miming. Some effects probably are used on his vocals track, but it's his live singing all the way through.

See the very final "For what it's wooooorrrrtthhhh" on this performance?
That's the best Liam has sounded in 10+ years. It's beautiful.
