No offense to Brooklyn but I'm hoping the show is in Manhattan. Easier commute. Rather selfish

Brooklyn Steel sounds like a good bet. It's brand new and open. Everything else in the city has major road blocks.

Maybe Hammerstein or the Theater of MSG. Both open but probably too large for a surprise gig of a new artist and unreleased album.

I think those spots are wayyyyyyy too large to fill. terminal 5 isn't sold out yet and it took a while for just 250 wristbands to be given out for 13 bucks. But who knows.

I was shocked it didn't sell out in like an hour. If they said Oasis it sure as shit would have. I mean Liam, maybe acoustic, 250 people, small room, $13, sounds like a no brainer.

Yes but remember I'm thinking pop-up late afternoon show or late night show, not the only thing the venue would have on that day/night...

No venue listed so far is going to risk just a few hundred loyal fans trekking over at the drop of a secret hat to fill any of the venues listed during primetime. Mark my words - Bowery Ballroom early show. Stick around for Jagwar Ma for sure. Runner up option is Brooklyn Steel...

Considering he's playing two Bowery Presents locations, he'll most likely be playing Bowery Ballroom's early show. Brooklyn Steel seems far too large for a secret show.
That said, I love the idea of him playing a club like Warsaw or Baby's All Right.

I don't think we've brought it up yet but Gramercy Theater is the right size and vibe. It's got an 11:30 PM show booked for the 28th but also has other days with multiple gigs per day. Dark horse since it's not connected to the Bowery presents, but thought I'd throw it out to the group!

Says "Haven't heard anything about it."

Definitely small enough as it only holds a few hundred people. I saw Stone Temple Pilots there back in 2010 and it was tiny and awesome. Thanks to everyone trying to pull together any info!! I haven't been able to shake anything out of anyone just yet.

Back to Liam's Rough Trade in-store show on 07/30 for a moment... I have an extra wristband ticket that I'd consider selling. It was procured with considerable overhead on the 17th lol but I'd love to see it go to a true fan if possible. Otherwise I'm taking my girlfriend, which is cool too. Message me if you'd like to discuss. Mods if this should be in the buy/sell area please forgive me. Thanks!

No offense to Brooklyn but I'm hoping the show is in Manhattan. Easier commute. Manhattan was good for music 10-20 years ago. Now it sucks for music. When i was playing gigs and DJ'ing gigs back in the Lower East Side in the mid to late 2000s it was still kicking but that scene died away and everyone moved to Brooklyn. but it's still a good place to buy soap and socks! Brooklyn is where all the action is, man! AS FOR THIS Hilton sponsored show....i honestly don't give a crap. I have my wristbands for Rough Trade and this will be THE smallest Liam show maybe in the whole world so am super excited! Brooklyn Steel is waaaaaay too big for a 'last minute" Liam show. Way too big. If they announce a Hilton sponsored show it will be at a small place. Maybe even a hotel gig......a non-traditional venue.
