His voice sounds like of "July 2002"! Very good! Better than debut gig at Manchester's Ritz, for me...

Jesus what a crowd Are they aware they are watching a rock gig or they think they went to mass? That's the stereotype festival people these days. So many teenage girls went to Pinkpop for Justin Bieber this year and they've never heard of Oasis or Liam Gallagher. That's why I don't go to a festival (and I hate to sleep in a tent)

Getting the distinct impression that whenever Liam wasn't at rehearsals the band nipped down the pub for a few on the time he's been paying for. They're not impressive at all.

He should stick to bass or leave the lead parts to Mike.

They don't even know Liam I guess. On the other hand, I saw bit of Green Day at Pinkpop and the crowd went bananas for them.

Better quality version of D'you Know What I Mean. Sounds so fucking good. Good, it has punch, even though I miss Noel's guitar a lot. That solo though. Come on Jay, you can do better. It was meh (and fucking buried in the mix). It sounds great indeed, apart from the solo. When are they going to fix this bit?

And before the lyrics start, where is that simple but infamous 3 note intro on the guitar. I might need to explain that better but hopefully people know what I mean (no pun intended)

So good to hear Liam singing properly again. I'd take disasters like Argentina 2006/Brit Awards etc than him singing through his nose to hit the notes like he did for the BE tour (even the acoustic gigs). Just didn't sound anything like how he should. I know some liked him in that era and some people love those acoustic performances, but they were really just not to my taste.
I thought he was doing that because his lower register was gone forever and he couldn't sing using his chest voice anymore. It's such a great surprise that he's not only singing properly but he's actually singing well and holding notes, rasping on the lower ones and soaring like he used to on the choruses. The chorus of Wall of Glass as the one love gig he literally does actually sound like he did in 96, not overall, but in those moments he really is channeling his younger self.
He apologised in the Pinkpop interview after this gig as well for his hoarse voice, which was totally understandable and surprising, he still sounded great considering. God damn I wish we could get a pro shot version of the Manchester or London gigs though.
He now sounds like a mix between the start of the DGSS tour and the BHN era. I hope he can keep it going for a while!

Just like seeing Liam Gallagher in general and playing Be Here Now is in 97. Hope you don't go see him, we're not in 97 anymore mate that's where he belongs

Sounds decent. Anyone else notice he's singing the verse melody of BHN ever so slightly different to 97/the original? Maybe it's just me but the actual melody is slightly different to me. I noticed on the other videos too like Brixton I think it's in a lower key. Same key actually... he's avoiding the high notes of the melody (wash...morning...flesh...touch...on the...) and doing them flat. Guess they're too high for him to sing.

Green day are crowd pleasers. Wich is fine with me. I used to like them more but as a headliner threy knie hoe to "entertain" Holland and the Gallaghers never clicked, the dutch love crowdpleasing bands like coldplay, U2 and Greenday. Bands with an opinion, or bands who don't give a shit like Oasis, The Libertines or even Echo & The Bunnymen are 'arrogant' If Liam would have said in dutch how much he loves our country he will sell 10.000 more albums...god i fucking hate my country

German accuracy... www.hotrecentnews.com/news/writing-error-caused-by-terrain-alarm-rock-am/26463Writing error caused by terrain alarm Rock am Ring A writer-out of two names of staff has caused the terrorist alarm and the subsequent evacuation of the German pop festival Rock am Ring. That reported German media Wednesday. About 87,000 people had to finish the festival ground in the Eifel on Friday 2 June, and the event was interrupted. The names of two employees were incorrectly written by a hired company that helped build the festival. When those names did not match an official list of the organizer of the festival, an alarm was struck. The Ministry of the Interior of the Land of Rhineland-Palatinate even stated that there were ties with salafic circles. The German police say they want to learn from the mistake and will also volunteer to check construction workers. Now only the security officers were screened. Rock am Ring continued the day after the evacuation.
