I really like it. Dirty, scuzzy sounding and that voice is still top top class. Not 'clean' or bland sounding which Beady Eye (and Noel's poor rockers) were. Good effort all round I say!
Welcome back Liam!

Why can't you find it in the search function on youtube? Only through the direct link. Has the upload not been processed yet? Seems like it might be set to "unlisted" (i think it's called that) - rather than public, no idea why. There's 3 settings for a video if you upload a video which are public, private and unlisted. Unlisted means it's not searchable but still watchable via a direct link.

It's set to private. Dunno why but it's not a smart move. I... I don't think they noticed. I mean it. I just sent them a message via YouTube suggesting they switch it to public.

The Oasis channel did the same thing with some of their videos, the D'You Know What I Mean? live version at Earl's Court has been sitting unlisted for 3.5 years...

Why would they have it set as unlisted still? The single's been released.
In the words of Ian Brown: "amateurs".

Fucking. Brilliant. So catchy, sounds fresh, great vocals. Really love the guitar break after the chorus. He's well and truly back! Exactly! Sounds really really good! Pure Liam!

There's no real reason for them not to be searchable. And there's big difference between random archival footage and the new lead single from Liam's debut.

Solid 8/10 for me, really think it's better than anything else he has done for years.
His acting in the video makes me laugh, especially when he's banging on his chest in the first verse it makes him look like a rapper haha

I've no idea how it works because I've never uploaded anything to YouTube but I guess they have it uploaded well in advance and set it to unlisted so people can't find it until it's out and they've fucked the settings somehow, no idea mate.

The official Facebook site directed to Pitchfork where the Youtube video is linked. I guess it might have to do something with an exclusive for Pitchfork for a certain while. Meanwhile the single will be released in most countries on June 2, so I expect the video to be public by this date the latest.

I know the unlisted videos were the ones embedded in the Oasis website for the Chasing the Sun deal. But Wall of Glass makes no sense. Very odd.

Sometimes it might be done at first if a certain website has the premier of the video, so it'll drive traffic to their website before people watch it, but it doesn't seem the case here. Odd indeed. Edit: just read up there ^^ that Pitchfork might have that exclusive. Makes sense if that's the case.

Also LOL @pitchfork doing an exclusive with them given that they gave Oasis a 1.2 out of 10 once, seemed to hate Beady Eye and NGHFB's releases, and now that they've been bought out by mass media conglomerate Conde Nast, disowned most guitar music and only seem to like mainstream pop and hip-hop stars these days.

This is one of the few times I miss the old MTV when it was about the music and even something like TRL premiering a new video

You are right, Amazon Germany said until a few hours ago it'll be out on June 2. However, as also ninestonecowbody mentioned, it's most probably due to the Pitchfork exclusive. Whatever the relationships betweens Liam's PR and Pitchfork might be..

Solo should've been bigger. The "didn't mean to be unkind" after the solo should've been with minimum production like in the beginning of the song to make the last rounds of chorus' explode. Thought the same thing - the song goes on for a while after the second chorus, could have done more with that time. Still, the opening riff is great, Liam sounds great, overall first impression great.

Has the vinyl already sold out? Sold out at Piccadilly Records. Hopefully it goes on sale on the main website soon but I've not seen it mentioned anywhere else as of now. I didn't realise it had sold out. I ordered one from there but I've just double checked my emails and I haven't received a confirmation email? Hopefully it will be sold from other websites.

The Pitchfork need to be 'cool' is pathetic (they even discuss at lengths whether an artist is 'cool' as if it's fucking important to the actual music) but in fairness, I thought their reviews of Noel's albums and BE have been well balanced without any snideness.
