I’ve seen them a few times and they are good. Their first album is definitely worth a listen.
They’ve also included a snippet of half the world away in there set before too.
Supporting Stone Roses at Wembley this summer so certainly risen pretty quickly.

A quality single in Charlemagne but nothing beyond that.

I could quite happily strangle every last quiffed, conversed, denim-jacket-wearing indie kid I see.
Thanks.

They seemed to be bored by their own performance

Strange one - Charlemagne is a solid single but begins to feel weak and over-simplified compared to their other output.
Early B-sides are a good place to look. Smoke is reminiscent of Humbug-era Arctic Monkeys with a brooding, ominous riff and stabs of synthy "funeral keys".
Across The Moor has a fantastic rhythm to it, sounds great in the car. Polka Dot Bones has a really purposeful feel too.
Seen them live twice and was impressed on both occasions.

They need to become more consistent in their songwriting and general output but they're off to a good start with their debut and earlier releases. Would prefer if they cut back on the sulk a bit and show more confidence in their live performances, but they have good ability as musicians (especially the bass player).

I'm not convinced about your taste in music. However, this is very uninspiring.

It is not a bad cover, I prefer this to Jake Bugg's Slide Away.
