I can't really give an honest opinion on the pub song. Gotta hear it fully formed. Could be good. Could be average. Liam doesn't need average or an odd ball single to start his solo career. He needs a catchy energetic tune.

Live game suddenly on Instagram from Debbie profile. And she felt the voice of Liam. I smell of mysterious advertising.

He needs a catchy energetic tune. The pub version is almost two years old as well. He might have changed the song up, he definitely changed the sound compared to "played on an acoustic in front of some drunk strangers".

I was never head over heels with the IIHAG sound check performance and the finished product did little to alter my views.

1. New member opens up thread excited about recent developments with Liam's solo album. 2. Casual discussion onto whether its real or not, and doing some digging to find actual truths. 3. 'Expressive' members make their senstivity shine, both on the side of liking Noel and liking Liam 4. Thread ends up taking more pages than it should, with 2 and 3 constantly being repeated over and over. 5. This repeats until actual, LEGITIMATE news / announcements are given.

Read in the Q last night when the reporter was played a demo of bold it sounded like a Plastic Ono band track to him. Should be interesting, lookin forward to it. In the interview made by 'Q Magazine' the song sung in pubs is actually 'Greedy Soul', and not 'Bold'. Also because of this song there is no trace in the interview.

Cheers mate, didn't know it was greedy soul played in the pub in Ireland, saw that vid a couple of years ago. What do you mean no trace in the Q interview ? The reporter said Liams manager played him a demo of bold on the headphones.

Please he literally quoted two lyrics from the song heard in the pub video ("Yes I know, I've been bold, didn't do.." and "Lay it on me"), it's def not "Greedy Soul".

Liam has a track record of producing songs with very little in the way of a chorus, which was what was severely lacking with many of the Beady Eye numbers.
I'm hoping his new stuff rectifies that. I quite liked the song he played in the pub, and I know the final version will probably sound quite different - if that is indeed Bold.
For me Liam's best song is still I'm Outta Time, (and the best thing on DOYS) so I know he has it in him to write big tunes, so I'm quietly optimistic about his solo album.
