Say what you want about their records but live they are monstrously good. If flashing lights and a guy shouting COME ON <INSERT TOWN> a lot comprise an acceptable substitute for actual music then you're correct. Well I disagree. I've seen them at festivals not populated by there own fans and they probably got the greatest response from a crowd I've seen when they headlined Glastonbury. A wet, muddy tired crowd on the Sunday night. I wouldn't describe myself as fan but they were brilliant.

Yeah I should think so.

COME ON TOMLIVESFOREVER *lights flash* I suppose that's why there's so much different music to cater to listeners and musicians alike- On an unrelated side note the opening lines how where Noel's head was around 'Heathen Chemistry', post divorce, prescription drugs and SOTSOG era efforts at branching out.

Ye he's playing somewhere else. I hope he doesn't play V, just cos it seems to be cursed for him. Supporting Kasabian at Reading makes more sense Jeez, even if he's just singing Oasis songs, he's much better than a mere support act for those louts Kasabian. Same type of fans it makes sense all round. Plus I should use the word 'support' loosely here or not at all. It's just the tactical same day, same festival move. It's not like he's supporting them at their own kasabian solo gig. Although I think that would be a good move too tbf

Festival dates all summer followed by an autumn tour under his own name in theatre sized venues depending how well his album and live dates are received?

Wouldn't be surprised if he played Lolla. Oshega and Lolla tends to have a lot of cross over with artists because they're only a couple days apart and about 2-3 plane trip away from one another.

lol at tegan and sara selling their souls to go pop and sound like everyone else and Liam is multiple rows higher on the poster still even though he hasn't had a record out in a few years. And it's in Canada! Pick up the damn guitars again.

Canadian twin sisters who've been releasing records with varied success since around 1999, have to be honest not really my cuppa their records that I've heard-

'Walking with a Ghost' was a neat song. The White Stripes did a decent cover of it.

Confirmed for Pinkpop festival in the Netherlands. Monday june 5. I'm not surprised. Ashcroft is playing on 3rd June. Headliners are Green Day, Kings of Leon and Justin Bieber. Meh.
