I'm trying to buy an Epiphone Sheraton II Pro in Vintage Sunburst, and can somebody help me buy this guitar? I have found a new one that cost about $500 and I believe that that's the lowest it can get, but I hope somebody knows one that's cheaper. Also I want to buy a case (it can be an used one) for about $50. The original hard shell cases are very expensive compared to the price of the guitar.
I'm not trying to buy a 60s one, (that has the frequensator) and it can be simply Sheraton II not the pro.

I have a Sheraton II (not the more recent PRO version with coil-splitting pickups, the older regular one with normal PUs). I got it last year and I paid 430 euros for it, which is around $460 and it was by far the cheapest price I could find on the net. $500 seems a fair price for the newer PRO. I didn't like the overpriced Epiphone cardboard-made case, so I had a wooden case made from a local factory for roughly $70. About the guitar itself, I haven't tried the PRO version so I can speak only about the regular Sheraton II. And I'm not a guitarist, I'm simply a guitar enthusiast with poor playing capabilities First of all, it looks totally amazing (mine is in ebony finish, I don't really like Sunburst guitars) and build quality is very good. The PUs are alright I guess, a bit muddy for my taste but if you adjust the height you can get some very noticeable sound improvements. And I almost never use the darker/muddier neck pickup anyway. I also installed a Bigsby on it, which makes it look even sexier.

It feels like I don't need it right now, so I'll just have a stopbar tailpiece. But eventually, I'll buy the Union Jack guitar with the frequensator haha. I like the Vintage Sunburst for this guitar because Noel looks really cool with it. I have a Fender strat in vintage sunburst, which looks terrible. I would buy a les paul in Ebony or maybe Alphine White. I hate overpriced cases.
