Hi, Been meaning to fix this for ages, so would greatly appreciate any help on this. I have a problem with navigating my site on mobile. My site uses Wordpress's Twenty Eleven theme, which I really like the look of. The drop-down menu works fine when accessing the site via a desktop computer, laptop, or even iPad. I click on the parent page (e.g. the album title 'Definitely Maybe', on the masthead) and the drop-down menu appears underneath, allowing me to select any article I'm interested in from the list. www.oasis-recordinginfo.co.ukBut when I access the site via a mobile device (Chrome running on an Android phone), the drop-down menu doesn't stay on-screen long enough to select the article I'm interested in. So I'll click the parent page and the drop-down list appears for just a split second, disappearing before I have a chance to select anything. I'm then taken to the contents page itself. Is there a way of adjusting the theme so that the drop-down list stays on screen until I've selected a page? It's fine if you have a direct link to an article of course, but otherwise this makes the site tricky to navigate on mobile. At least on my mobile anyway (anyone else have this issue?) Thanks again for any help on this one

... At least on my mobile anyway (anyone else have this issue?) ... Yes, it does the same on my Android phone (also with Chrome). Edit - I've found a way of making the drop-down list stay on the screen longer - just hold down on the link (for about a second) and then cancel the "Open in new tab" etc menu when it appears, then the list stays there until you select an option.

This is due to how Android (maybe chrome itself) is reading the touch vs. click of the aforementioned link/menu. Often times if you don't press hard/long enough on a link, then it will read as a hover action instead, thus the brief show and tell.
It could be as simple as updating the javascript library being used to run the site to the newest available version if the site has been around for a while.
If it's a template code issue, then maybe you can contact the template creator to have the issue looked into, but if it's a Chrome/Android thing, then... odds are you don't have any easy way of repairing the issue.
-----
Edit: Upon closer inspection of the site... it would appear that the menu is run via hover effects instead of actual click effects which is going to give some issues on mobile almost certainly. You can't really hover on touch devices.
The theme (Twenty Eleven) appears to have been recently updated in August, so (it would appear)the only solid solution would be to find a template that is better optimized for mobile environments.

Your menu is quite complex which is going to make updating everything difficult. Maybe consider looking into way to simplify everything. I wish I had some insight for you on how to do this, but I don't. Sorry.

Brief message as I'm at work, by just wanted to say thanks guys for all the replies and advice. Much appreciated.
And my apologies for anyone experiencing this issue with the site. I'll get someone in to look at this asap. It's not my line of work tbh, so that's probably a better move than trying to tweak it myself.
I've also posted a query on this at the Wordpress support forum. I'll let you know how I get on.

OK, if you check my site now you should see a new drop-down menu for mobile and tablet users. I checked it on my iPad running Safari, and with an Android phone running Chrome, and the navigation works much more smoothly now. Hopefully all this shows up OK your end! My thanks to Charly Anderson for her painstaking work in fixing this issue. www.oasis-recordinginfo.co.uk

Menu works fine, but you're overflowing at the bottom. Noticed it's as tall as the Definitely Maybe menu. Is happening on Safari on the iPad and Safari/Firefox on the Mac.
