I can burn my booklet in my fireplace as it contains SO MANY wrong informantion. With the advent of the digital music revolution, management teams have started giving ZERO attention to the booklets because they no longer see the value in pandering to the small group of people who might still take a look at them. It's sad, but true. They assume people will search out all info online.

i knew it was there all along but i have always loved the 'woooooo!' noel shouts out towards the end of it's gettin' better (man!!). sounds like it was just an impromptu, spur-of-the-moment thing he decided to throw in there, caught up in the moment of it all and being higher than a kite.

I'm glad to finally have a copy of Be Here Now that has August 21 on it. My previous one had August 26.

it's probably been mentioned several times in multiple threads on the forum(forgive me, i'm late to the party as i don't listen to leaks) but i noticed there's been a touch of reverb added to liam's vox on 'i hope, i think, i know'. it's very slight, but it is noticeable.

Just been listening to the Be Here Now reissue this week and am realising what a good song girl in the dirty shirt is. Everyone (Noel) bangs on about how poor the lyrics are on be here now but this song is really quite something. As I understood it the song was a "get well soon" type song for his ex wife Meg Mathews. Lots of positivity in the lyrics offering help and support. Music wise, I have always loved the Wurlitzer piano in the outro. I didn't listen to be here now for years but over the last few years have realised there is so much more to this album if you give it a good listen.

I noticed that some of the guitar tracks used in the final mixes were taken directly from the Mustique demos. This is most noticeable in Fade In/Out where both the final and mustique version have the same acoustic guitar track at the very start that has Noel talking. You can also hear around the 3 minute mark Noel say something like "last one and I'll sing" on both versions. Johnny Depp's slide guitar solo was also recorded for the Mustique demo and then re-used.

I love this reissue and it's the only one out of the three which I think has a very clear difference in the sounds on the main album,
I bloody love this album and it's a solid 10/10 in my eyes but even after hearing it for the 1000th time I still find it unbelievable they released it as the follow up to the biggest British album in 30 years!
Imagine all those fair weather fans who loved Wonderwall and She's Electric sat at home listening to this for the first time when My Big Mouth starts or Fade In-Out kicks in! Just utter mayhem!

"I said HEY listen up man, they don't even know you're born." I used to think it was "Hey, listen, old man, you don't even know you're born" which would have been a cooler thing to say to The Almighty if you ask me.
