Wonder if he will play any beady eye songs He needs to play Flick of the Finger such a great song imo. Also I hope he'll play couple of his Oasis tunes like Songbird, I'm Outta Time or even Boy With the Blues. I think it depends if they'll fit his new album.

Great interview. Now we know the name of another new Liam solo-song, if he continues this way we might have the traclist for the album by the end of the year. I like that he says there's gonna be some variation on the album. In a recent interview he did it almost sounded like there would be ten Meaning of Soul-clones, which made me a bit concerned. But the general idea behind the album seems to be that it's back-to-the-basics, stuff without too much production and focus on the songs and his voice. Which can be great, unless there's a song which could've benefitted from a bigger production to showcase the potential of the melody. If the song is good enough. Ballroom Figured is an example of a song that I've always thought they wasted the potential of by stripping it of production. Would've loved to hear that with strings and everything.
Let's hope that he plays his own oasis songs as well if he's gonna do that. Always thought it was really weird how Beady Eye only did Noel-penned oasis songs live, and not the ones they wrote. Without getting into discussion of whether he should do the Noel-penned songs, it would be a shame to not use this as an opportunity to show how many good songs he has written himself now. It's time that we get to hear I'm Outta Time live again for example.
