Hi all! Some of you have already heard of this, but I have a new project: Rabbit n Wolf, and we have a new song, Breathe. Posted below is a link to this new track. Listen, share, comment. Per usual, I love sharing my music here because just about everyone is an avid music listener and musician, and many people's tastes in music expand beyond the Oasis sphere. Hope at least some enjoy, and again, thank you for all your help. https%3A//soundcloud.com/rabbitnwolf/breathewww.facebook.com/rabbitnwolf/?fref=ts

Very cool! Really, really reminds me of Go Slowly by Radiohead - which can't be a bad thing.

Chilled me out beautifully spaneli so thanks for that I got the Mazzy Star feel you mentioned as well, but it has it's own dream pop sound to me as well

Thank you for asking for my opinion! Echoing guigsysEstring, it's a very soothing and dreamy song. The mood fits perfectly with the vocals. I've only had chance to listen once but its a song I'd go back to... Probably when I need to forget about the stresses of the day and fancy letting my mind be swept away on a peaceful journey. Very cool indeed!

I quite like it ! I love that dreamy mood (I can see the Mazzy Star's influence) and the singer's voice. The production is really tasty. No, really, that's a good track spaneli !

Well it certainly helps keep the wolf from the door.
Let the dog see the rabbit.
Ps. Really great song. Like the lead singers vocal style.
Check out Welcome Back to Milk by Du Blonde.
e.g.
Some of the guitars remind me of Oasis on that song.

I think you and your band have a really good start here, spaneli . It definitely does what a debut single should do by giving a preview of what's to come and sets the tone. I love the dreamy nature of the song and the sounds that are placed within it (like that distant spoken words in the background of the verses!). Your voice definitely fits the dream pop nature of the song. It seems to get better with each listen, as well, and that's a great thing. At first, I couldn't really tell what kind of a structure the song had until the second listen where it became more apparent and got better. I'll be very interested in hearing more from you and your band. The sound seems a little loose but with time, I imagine you guys will sound good and tight.

spaneliPROS:Easily listenable. Overall pretty good musicianship and recording. Soothing in some way. Good vibe going on. CONS:I've listened 3 times and really have no idea what the lyrics say. It does meander (kind of walks around to nowhere) a bit. ----- I'd love to hear more whenever there is more. Out of curiosity... what is your part in this? (instrumentation, vocals, manager, friend, etc.)

I love it. The instrumentation and the vocals are all outstanding. Dreamy and mystical - like floating in a dream. Only wee issue is the mixing - vocals should be more at the forefront perhaps?
Notify us on any more tunes you upload.

Excellent - singer does sound a bit like Hope Sandoval. Would have liked the vox bit higher in the mix though.

Excellent - singer does sound a bit like Hope Sandoval. Would have liked the vox bit higher in the mix though. Definitely. Getting some distance away from some of the songs after a few months, looking back, I might have hedged a little too much on the vox level. Thanks for the suggestion!

Not a big fan of the first song, not because it isn't well written or I find anything wrong with it but just because it isn't my cup of tea.
The second tune is great, it has drive, its insistant and there is a nagging hypnotic feel to the whole song, its stuck by me long after listening to it. It really reminds me of The Brian Jonestown Massacre and as a huge fan of them there's really no greater compliment I can give it.

I fucking love Brian Jonestown Massacre, so guess there might have been some unconscious duplication
