Liam's voice during 15 years:
Richard's voice during 19 years:

This is the most redundant question I've ever seen on the forum

The real question is: who writes the better songs? Unpopular opinion incoming.... I'd take DGSS any day over any of that clichéd, overly polished, self-indulgent mess that Richard keeps putting out every few years. Can we have the Verve back again?

Liam used to have the better voice but Ashcroft's one has aged better. Not much of a debate.

Richard probably has one of the most, if not THE most powerful voice I've ever heard. That voice combined with an extraordinary musician like Nick Mccabe...oh well. To quote Moz: "The story is old, but it goes on"

But Liam has never come close to the level Ashcroft reached with The Verve. Neither's output was great in the last decade or so.

Noel vs ashcroft would be a better comparison through the years.
Liam is in league of his own really, cant think of any singer whos had such a rapid decline, Liams voice was mostly gone within a decade and was never the same from one year to the next.
just the way it is.

I was only thinking about Richard's solo career.

Seen that Live Forever video before. It's really devastating, isn't it?

Ashcroft still has a killer voice. Richard's voice could legally be classified as a lethal weapon.

Let's be real here. Richard at his songwriting peak was better than Noel at his. Not trying to stir the pot here. Read the lyrics for the majority of stuff on A Northern Soul.

The two of them lost a bit of their vocal range after 1994, only one did corect his technique to keep a good voice.

I think video made from myself shows more about Liam's voice Nice video! But I think that this video shows that Liam still can sing really good, at the first gigs from a tour.
