just stumbled across some girl's tweet & she claims that Liam is set to release a solo record next year. she's fairly confident about that because apparently Liam's girlfriend has told her friend about it when they were in MCR to see the Roses...maybe this girl is just talking rubbish but I would love it to be true! I definitely want Liam to make a musical comeback and would love a Liam solo record!!

I definitely think Liam will release a solo album. (Not based on that tweet)

I've got to be honest... as much as I want Liam to surprise us with an album, it's not happening anytime soon. From appearances, he's still stewing over the past too much to move on with the future.
I do hope we hear again from Liam. For all of his faults, the music industry is sadder without him.

So based on some tweets, LG was in LA, but based on other tweets, seems to be back in London. Seems there hasn't been a lot of speculation as to why he was there. At first I thought it was recording (Sivek traditionally stays put in LA and has said he'd like to work with LG again). I wondered if it was Pretty Green related (there was some sort of showcase shop there a while back). Now I'm Thinking due to the quick loop he was meeting labels. One of the big failings of BE was it has no US release. None. If there is a next album, it must have a home. Most labels are headquartered in NY with the exception of a few, including Interscope. So - what do you think was the purpose of the LA trip? Speculate.

Given the lack of success of NGHFB albums in the US, I'm not sure a Liam Gallagher solo album would sell well, regardless of the label he's on. Beady Eye didn't do brilliantly in the UK where Oasis are still worshipped, they were hardly going to pull up trees in a country who remember them as one-hit wonders.

Know a lad who bumped in to Chris Sharrock today, he said he doesn't speak to Liam anymore but he's releasing something soon apparently. Exciting!

Liam has 1.067.188 followers on Twitter. It would be nice if all those people will go to his concerts and buy his album.

Of course there's a Beatles feature when Liam's on the cover...
Seriously though, I'm looking forward to the interview - Liam's right, it has been pretty boring without him. Still not all that keen on the idea of new music from him (if that's what the interview is even about), but I'll try and keep an open mind.

It's got to be music hasn't it? There would be no reason at all for the interview if there wasn't any new music surely? So excited.

What's that area of your face called, just below your bottom lip and above your chin? Well, I've never realised how much Liam's looks like Jon Pertwee. davidjayMaybe that's come on with age... Although the photographer's not done him any favours, shining the light down on him and going heavy on the saturation. Anyway, I'm hoping he gets asked a question about the Be Here Now reissue. Noel's had to grudgingly give it some praise recently, and we know Liam has always thought highly of it, so it would be nice to get a comment on it from him. Hope for some more details on SUPERSONIC, as well...

www.qthemusic.com/16676/q364-liam-gallagher/?In a world exclusive interview, Q’s Ted Kessler meets Liam Gallagher down his local boozer to hear how the greatest frontman of his generation got his life back together. Liam tells Q how he found himself in crisis after the split of Beady Eye and how he’s making plans for a dynamic new chapter. little bit on the Q site so looks like plans at the mo. Surel be a good read

Like I said a few days a go, I know a lad who bumped in to Chris Sharock the other day and he said Liam has something coming out soon so it all points in that direction.

I've never seen Liam live so if that brings him back on stage I don't mind if the music isn't that good. He's probably using some Oasis songs in his setlist.

If this is a musical return its going to be very interesting to see who he gets in as a backing group / band.
Music NEEDS Liam at the moment. He might not be the greatest singer anymore but he deserves to be on the stage. No one I've seen live belongs on the stage more than him.
