It's Gettin' Better (Man!!) is a fucking tune. Monstrous in every way. What they do with it is very good, they squeeze all they can from it but the core of the song isn't brilliant. Especially considering the brilliance of almost every track on morning glory. 8/10 tops.

This is obviously just a USA reissue series right? We would have heard about it if the UK was getting this by now surely? Been thinking the same , Noel said he wanted to re issue the other albums again though so surely they will be re issued in Europe as well ? Big brother wouldn't just issue them in America surely ?

I don't think the US got the 2009 reissues so the Americans are more overdue vinyl reissues to be fair. Postage to the UK from America will be extortionate and then we'll probably be hit with import duty, making them nearly as expensive at the original releases! I'm hoping to pick up the masterplan at least as that's about £100 for an original nowadays!

Anyone know if these re issues just for the US or Europe as well ?
Must just be US as there would probably be some pre order dates up by now if the UK was getting them also.

It's Gettin' Better (Man!!) is a fucking tune. Monstrous in every way. It was supposed to be the first single after they got back from the aborted US tour in 1996, but because of the way that tour ended and the ongoing problems at Abbey Road the continued with recording other songs and relocating to Ridge Farm studios in Surrey just to keep the band going instead. It certainly would have been an arrogant/triumphant (depending on your viewpoint ) follow up single to Knebworth and if it had happened a successful MTV Unplugged followed by a short US Tour, and could well have set the tone for a less hyped third album by having Be Here Now follow up in early 1997.

Interesting. I didn't realize Oasis really considered recording/releasing "It's Getting Better Man (Man!!!)" in the fall/winter of 1996. That would have made a fun non-LP single or whatever. Bridging the gap so to speak.

We can't be far away from an announcement if it's coming out for the 20th anniversary.

Something is off.

It'll still be in shops for the very crowded Christmas music market.

Posted this in the BHN articles thread with the rest of the pages, but it is mentioned under the red headline 'October 7-November 11'.

Cheers mate, I've ordered from these a few times and all there Blu Rays / DVDs are imports. If you want to return something you have to ship it to the states from the UK site so they will defo be the imports I would think.

who would have ever guessed that heathen-frickin'-chemistry would be reissued before be here now? unreal. At least it sort of keeps our dreams alive in regard to the bhn Chasing The Sun reissue. Remember all the albums were reissued in 2009 anyway.
