I don't think there is already one, so here we go...
Group A: France, Romania, Albania, Switzerland Group B: England, Russia, Wales, Slovakia Group C: Germany, Ukraine, Poland, Northern Ireland Group D: Spain, Czech Republic, Turkey, Croatia Group E: Belgium, Italy, Republic of Ireland, Sweden Group F: Portugal, Austria, Iceland, Hungary
D -33. So what are your favourites ? What will be the surprise ?
I think the 2 big favourites are Germany and France. Spain might be not far behind at all and the big outsiders might be Belgium and England. The groups B, D, E are the most insteresting, in my eyes, so far. Oh and I think we need to not forget Italy. Always do well, when we're not expecting them to.

Seeing Hungary there is killing me... It's the kind of team that will probably not go far but will be solid. They defeated Norway during playoffs, a team who has a similar level (maybe a bit lower) than Iceland or Austria. They look the weakest team of the group and one of the weakest of the competition, but I don't think they're far behind any other teams.

It's just that I'm from Finland (and season ticket holder in our "ultras section" ) and Hungary has been our main rival couple of times. Now they were in the same group with us and we lost both games because of some 80min goal. Hungary isn't better team than Finland, our coach was just so fucking idiot narcist who couldn't see his own mistakes and we got very bad results. He got fired too late and we didn't have any chances anymore. After his firing we didn't lose any of the last 4 games. E: Edited some mistakes. I typed it too quickly

Germany is always going to be the favourite as current World Champion, although I feel like our team has a lot of problems - Lahm retired after 2014, several injuries (Schweinsteiger, Gündogan, both essential central midfielders), lackluster performances in the qualifiers. France, like Germany, has the players to win it, but I feel like their team might be a little too young to deal with the pressure at home...really amazing players though. Spain always has good young players, question is how they'll combine their accomplished stars with the new guys. It's kinda boring that 24 teams are in - more games of course, but many groups feel like they have such clear favorites (France, England, Germany, Spain in their groups) which wasn't usually the case in ECs. Personally, I'm rooting for Iceland tiny country, but they played amazingly in the qualifiers. Would love for them to survive the group stage.

I agree when you say our team (as I am french) is maybe a bit young. I don't think it will be that easy for Spain in their group, as that one seems quite solid. Croatia, Turkey, Czech, all very good teams, pretty much all of the same level. I mean, I think they'll pass the round, but maybe not with 3 victories.

England, Italy, Portugal and Wales will be in the semi-final. I don't think Portugal and Wales will go that far, even if they have both a great individuality (Ronaldo and Bale).

I done a quick mock up here: euro2016.eurosport.co.uk/ and had Portugal in the final even though I don't fancy them for it! They had an easy route beating Ireland, Wales & Croatia Not sure how accurate the brackets are with the 3rd place teams. My computer in banjaxed so can't download the excel from this site which seems to be the real deal: www.excely.com/football/euro-2016-schedule.shtmlI'm doing up the draft in the other thread so if anyone has done any mock ups yet of the playoffs and/or top scorers please let me know as want to imput them in so it's not just my estimates I'm going off for a "Cheat sheet" I will post up later

I hope we'll do well (Belgium). We've never had such good players as this generation. A shame Kompany will miss the EC now. But with Hazard, Vertonghen, Courtois, De Bruyne, Lukaku, Benteke we should be able to get to the semi finals.

That spreadsheet I posted a couple of replies up works a treat.
Just done my first mock with it and have a France/Germany final. Germans edging past Portugal on penalties in the semis. Like Portugal, I don't fancy Germany for the title.
Italy & Ukraine miss on 3rd play qualification while Albania & Hungary make it through. Wales and England make the quarters after beating Albania & Iceland.
Belgium & Portugal only 100% teams in group stages. Both make semis
Will give it another go next week to see how much my mind changes.

Every player is world class (or soon to be world class) - if they click as a team, they have a real shot at the title.

Lukaku & De Bruyne are having a good season though. Hazard seems to get his form back as well now. Let's hope he's top at the championship. Problem is idd, they need to click as a team. Lukaku doesnt fit in the system they play now..
Plus I fear our defence will be weak without Kompany.

Austria / Croatia and France / Germany for the semis, as all the favourites were on the road of France and Germany. Will try this again.

They have so many though. I was impressed with Origi when I watched BVB-Liverpool, he might not have the greatest PL season but he has serious potential. Add in de Bruyne (one of the best Bundesliga players when he was in Wolfsburg), Lukaku, Benteke, Hazard, Witsel... Using the mockup I got Germany vs France and Spain vs. Italy/England in the semis - sounds reasonable enough.

KDB and hazard are class tho. and lukaku can be, on the right day. i ended up with spain/portugal vs germany/france. portugal/germany final. the mighty germans to win it...ive believed that since 2006 tho, so i been wrong plenty of times.

The 16 team Euros were always great. Not a fan of this format, some pretty shit teams in there tbh.
