just interested to hear what people think of this song almost 3 years later, I was here for the build up to flick being played on bbc radio when it was played by a station in America the week before and the apparent planned build up using the stems over the weekend (released as people tweeted) was made pointless, we gathered on here to hear SBOTA only to get old he wouldn't be playing the song for a further 2 weeks which created more hype for the follow up to flick and we got....
when I first heard it, I hated it but I must say its one of the tracks from the whole of beady eyes catalogue that I like the most, its one of the tracks I enjoyed more in their live sets and was great acoustic.
BE overall was a really good album and its a shame they didn't make it to a 3rd album.

I remember discussing this one recently on here and I'll probably say something similar now, so forgive me for that: It's one of the few Beady Eye songs I still listen to. The chorus is catchy, the "show what you love now" bit is good. I'm also a sucker for a bit of brass and musically it's alright. The lyrics of those verses are god awful though.

I have quite a love/hate relationship with Beady Eye. When they first came out i was a proper fan boy and convinced myself i liked them more than i did. Then after BE lost all confidence in them and gave up.
But the last few weeks ive been listening again and i think ive been harsh on Liam.
As for SBOTA, its a great production with just a few of the trademark bad lyrics. The 'yes you're not wrong' bit is amazing from Liam, he sounds brilliant. I think it was a step in the right direction.
Love it. Listened to the BE album this morning in my car driving to work. FLick / Soul Love / Second Bite / I'm Just Saying / Start Anew are all great. Loving those extra tracks as well! Off at the wrong exit & Girls in Uniform.
