Fucking hell, I can't read these last posts without laughing I'm looking forward to see the documentary. Is there any info about the release date? Rumours of August/September. I imagine they'll want to go in for August, before kids go back to school, and some folk back to work, to maximise ticket sales.

Problem with that film is that although Asif Kapadia is producing, he's not directing it like he did with Senna.
It's Matt Whitecross instead, a judging by his god awful Stone Roses movie (Spike Island - despite that gig being a crock of balls), it may very well be shite.

He did a Cristiano Ronaldo documentary as well, you know, which gets slaughtered on Rotten Tomatoes. I still hold out hope though, because, obviously 90s Oasis are an infinitely more interesting subject for a film than some poncey footballer or some shite gig; and if Liam and Noel and all the other characters they've interviewed, like Bonehead and McGee ( has he been interviewed?) bring it, it should be an entertaining hour and a half if nothing else.

Sadly, Liam is more cartoon character these days than rock n roller. Thought that was Noel Gallagher?

A feature film is different from a documentary. Literally, a completely different style. His feature film ratings are in the tank, but his documentary ratings are much higher. Plenty of good documentarians who can't pull off a feature film.

Surely the Knebworth film will be released in August to coincide with the 20th anniversary? Ah yes, of course. Forgot about that. Mind you, they never bothered with any of that "release to coincide" stuff with the Definitely Maybe and Morning Glory remasters, so who knows. But Noel did definitely say August/September, and now they've got a cut of it already, in early May, they should easily be able to hit that August target.

Maybe we'll get the documentary in August and Knebworth in November to cash in on Christmas sales?

Liam is back on track. The voice is in check. The BIBLICAL attitude is back (if it ever went away). Next comes the music.
I CAN'T WAIT !!!!!!!!!!!

Liam thought the Beady Eye records were "BIBLICAL", so I'll not get TOO excited yet. Was always his thing to have the upmost belief in everything he got involved with being great, where sometimes Noel would be more reticent (see Be Here Now). But if Noel okays it, that'll be him, Bonehead and Liam who've all given it the thumbs up... And then I WOULD, I think, get quite excited indeed... Utmost. writingexplained.org/upmost-or-utmost-differenceApart from that I completely agree, Liam seems to operate a binary system of judgement, things are either shite or amazing.

I'm sure most fans who maybe never experienced that or forgotten just how great those days were we can predict its gonna be a good/proud watch
