Liverpool votes to stay in. Basically a Scottish city in England then.

Still slightly worrying that a lot of the big cities voting remain have pretty poor turnouts. Glasgow only 56%, Liverpool 64% (UK average currently 70%).

It's on the toss of a coin at the minute.
If so, I still bet on Remain. Come on.

Think, despite the early scare, Remain has it in the bag now.

How the fuck did so many people vote for a side that has Boris Johnson, Nigel Farage and Keith Chegwin in it?

Think, despite the early scare, Remain has it in the bag now. Are you sure?! @afneil: If provincial England continues to vote as it has, London will not save remain.

Was confident of a win, now they've possibly bottled it. This is Britain's Al Gore moment. And Leave winning is the George W Bush moment. That worked out well didn't it.......
(sorry Beady's Mighty Eye!).

Isn't Scotland pulling out of the UK but remaining in the EU a bit incongruent?

Aberdeen 61% remain, good stuff. Suspect Shire will be closer to leave though, lots of fishing villages strongly voting leave.

Isn't Scotland pulling out of the UK but remaining in the EU a bit incongruent? Scotland identifies more with Europe than with England. Scotland is governed by the right wing Tories which Scotland didn't vote for at all and for many in Scotland they would rather be governed under EU laws (better workers rights etc). That's how it's seen.

Greece committed suicide in their referendum last year, and now the UK is following suit a year later. What the fuck is going on?

Another lesson, don't trust the Polls. I actually think Trump has got a good chance in the US, people are sick of the status quo. The anti - establishment vote.
