21239. The same people defending Michael Walker are the same people calling Dettori a grub. I think it's quite hypocritical from both sides.

21242. Was listening to a podcast that interviewed a Taiwanese left-wing activist about his opinions about the protests in Hong Kong, the Taiwanese presidential election next year, Chinese politics, etc, but the one thing that stuck with me most was what he said about becoming radical. He said that he had no idea how he came to have such radical beliefs, what turns people from moderate liberals with faith in existing institutions to cynics with no faith in the system, and because of that, he doesn't know how to convince people he knows so they can have the same awakening as him. Interesting, because I suppose when and whether we start adopting radical left-wing beliefs is very much a matter of chance. In an alternate universe I am an annoying lib, a militant, centrist, or (god forbid) a fascist. Hell, when I was younger I low-key embraced fascist views anyway. I'm just glad I found my way out of that quickly.

Wasn't that politically intrested, but was always leaning towards the "anti-SJW/PC" mindset. I could easily have ended up being stuck with someone like Steven Crowder for a year or two, at least I have enough confidence in myself to say that I don't think it would have lasted for longer than that!

When I look back into my teenage years and remember how I used to think I just can't help but cringe at myself. I'm glad I changed, and I thank music and a new circle of friends for that.

21247. Is Arthur Cooper God? As soon as that Floodgate pic went up, Dapto had the dogs on again.
(Much balder now of course)
