I've watched the match and Djokovic was just not there during the first set. So many unforced errors, one of his worst forst set in age. The other two sets, he came back with a good level. Against Nadal, he seems to have taken the control since the USO 2013. His first serve is better, his second serve is better, he returns better and he always keep his feet on the baseline, not two meters behind like 90% of the players against Nadal. From the sounds of it, today's was a great match and very close. Apart from being a Nadal fan, I want to see Nadal winning more matches so that it livens up the rivalry and breaks up the monotony of the results. As brilliant as Djokovic is playing at the moment, it does make it boring to watch when you get the same player winning everything, practically unchallenged. Yes, it was a great match. I like Nadal as much I like Djoko. Even if I am more of a Roger fan, you can only admire the fighting spirit of Nole and Rafa. These three are certainly in the top 5 of all the time and they will maybe end up as the three best players of all the times, having all played countless times against each others. Insane.

We're certainly in an era like no other... Murray would (and should) have won slams more without these players around. I've always been an underdog fan and Nadal - barring his clay excellence - has never truly dominated the sport. I'd love for him to win another grand slam (and Federer too) but I just can't see it happening.

So today, it's the semis. Weird tournament, with the bad weather and the injuries of Federer, Monfils (before the tournament), Nadal and Tsonga (during).
Djokovic is rather on good form. His match against Bautista was far from perfect, but he has done job. He was already better against Berdych but we all know Tomas doesn't have any solution against him. Against Thiem, it will be (I hope!) a fucking great match ! I'm more and more impressed by the austrian tournament after tournament. Big mental and amazing endurance. It will be his 50th game of the season !
Wawrinka - Murray will be the second semi-final. Amazing billing between the defending champion and Murray, who doesn't stop to progress on clay, even though he already lost 5 sets since the beginning of the slam.

Got to agree with Murray's own assessment - one of the best matches he has played in his career. Brilliant performance. He will need something similar, if not better, against Djokovic in the final.

History beckons for both players today, especially Djokstrap who won't only complete the career grand slam, but will become the first person since The Rocket to hold all four titles at the same time.
I'll be rooting for Murray and hope he's able to increase his final wins. It's amazing that a player of his calibre has only been able to win twice out of nine attempts!

This match is being as predictable as the White Album... Just keeping an eye on the scores, not even watching it and it's stressing me out. Anyway, hoping Djokovič wins, not only because I normally want him to win, but to see the first guy in almost half a century hold all 4 slams at the same time (This is history!!!) 1 set all now...

I feel so bad for Murray, in pretty much any other generation he'd be at least a five time Grand Slam champion. Deserves better than only being a two time champ, I doubt the UK will ever produce a better player than him. Rather unfortunate that he's up against three of the best players of all time all at once. Djokovic is so much better than everyone else at the moment, ridiculously good.

Nah, drugs don't make you having such a mastery on the game. Which Djokovic has. His opponents are always against a wall because Djokovic has all the tactical keys. He has solutions against Murray, Nadal, Berdych, Nishikori, etc. The physical aspect, I would put it only on his matches against Federer. But against everyone else, it's just because he's a better player that he is winning.

Well, it worked for Noel. Do you like more Supersonic or She Is Love? Drugs are great :-)

Del Potro, quite easily actually. Glad for him. Dimitrov seems totally lost since 2015...

First he was burdened with the reputation of 'Baby Fed', then the burden of high expectations. Hopefully he'll learn to ignore the expectations of others and find feet.
