So happy right now, the greatest of all time showing an on-form Andy how it's done.
Come on Roger, number 18 is just three sets away.

Fed, the guy is unreal. One of the best grass court performances I've ever seen. I only hope he utterly destroy's Novak. Novak has a lego head and lacks class.

Especially after the 09 Final where they immediately aired a classless commercial of him not being able to drag around all his trophy's in a cart, and then saying Novak was lucky for hitting an amazing match saving return, saying something along the lines of "I don't just randomly hit the ball as hard as I can and then hope for the best". He did play a great match tho, and I'm hoping for a good final. As for Novak, how has he "lacked class" anytime in the last couple years?

There is really no point in answering to this guy. He is using shape of Novak head as an argument. And yet he is talking about not having a class.

That commercial was kinda OTT but I think as Oasis fans we should appreciate the tongue-in-cheek side of self aggrandization. I don't know if Roger said that but yes, that was wrong. Overall though he's an amazing sportsman - near enough always classy, graceful and relaxed - win or lose. And then you have stuff like this... And then the reason most love him is of course his gorgeously elegant yet powerful tennis, beautiful to watch. Would love so much to see him lift that trophy again!

Sad to see Murray go out after playing some superb tennis but that's proof, not that it was needed, that Federer is up there with the greatest players in the history of the sport. The guy was on a different level today, his game is impossibly smooth - a real pleasure to watch.
From a playing standpoint, Federer had just the right shot for every shot Murray played. As both players continued to hold serve it became apparent that both were playing the shots that their rival was the least fond of, just relentlessly scouring every inch of he court trying to force even the tiniest opening into playing the winning shot.
It's a tactic that I'd wholly recommend, if you can find even the tiniest thing that even slightly unsettles your opponent, exploit it for all its worth to assert your control over the points.
The final will be interesting. I hope that Federer can continue this form and get an edge over Djokovic who I still just can't take to, he lacks the flair that many of his peers have.

Want to have a bet on him having a medical time out if he is down in the final?

Hope Roger wins.

Federer played brilliantly to stay in that 2nd set tie-break and deserved to win it! So far, this is an absolute classic!

Pretty sure Djokovic will win but god what a fight from Roger. It's amazing how many close calls Federer has had in major finals since he broke Pete's record in 2009. At least 5-6 times he finished runner up. He could easily be up another 3-4 grand slam event.

I don't think as a Federer fan I can complain about lack of trophies.

I think this match hinders on whether they close the roof or not. Although Djokstrap has a brilliant record indoors, Federer seems to excel whenever he plays indoors on grass.

By the way, can the BBC fire Andrew Castle and replace him permanently with Andy Roddick?

This match is a great one But sadly I see fed as a half step slower these last 5 years , why he is losing to joker ( who I love ) The fed of 10 years ago DONT miss backhands down the line , OT mis hit forehands , yet he is still in it ...... Im hoping the roof closes It's his best chance , unless he can find his form of a decade ago , he simply can't make unforced errors like he has been , that is what age does sadly

This is some of the finest tennis I've ever seen. Unfortunately, I can see Federer tiring as the match progresses.

Federer has slowed over the years but it's amazing how he's changed his game to become so efficient in the way he plays. I really hope this goes to five.
