With all the recent debates between differing ideas and values, it would be interesting to see where people fall on the political compass, i.e. left/right and authoritarian/libertarian. www.politicalcompass.org/testIf you want, post your charts here. Here's mine:

The questions are very biased. Not really a fair assessment by any means. Too stereotypical against the right. That being said... Economic Left/Right: 5.0 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -1.64

I can understand someone being economically conservative but I don't understand how anyone can be socially conservative.

I knew I was going to get this. I'm not good enough to be conservative, but not good enough to be liberal. This is probably why I think politics is just a big headache.

I see myself moderate on social issues, but conservative on foreign policy, as well as fiscally conservative. None of which approaches the far right.

I'm American and I was so far to the left my dot was off the boards. What does that mean?

I'm American and I was so far to the left my dot was off the boards. What does that mean? The effect is the same, exposure to the immense corporate culture in America and the amount of right-wing media (I'm curious - how respected is Fox News in America?) so I thought it might make a difference. Btw I saw Hillary Clintons and Rand Paul's election propaganda - how on earth does anyone swallow that shit? I suppose it means you want a completely planned economy, and have retained the ability to think for yourself

If there is a politician that I prefer to the two candidates from the two major parties I would never vote for them. It would be throwing away a vote. I rather vote for the lesser of two evils than vote for a candidate that will never win. As for Fox news. Right wingers and middle America think it's the Holy grail. Sane people see it as propaganda. Is there some news on it? Yes but it is so loaded with bias and opinions passed off as facts that I don't understand how an intelligent person can watch it. I don't know if you'll get this reference but it's like watching First Take on ESPN for sporting news.

The two party system is not ideal but I would say there are greater problems, like how there is such control of the status quo to prevent that system changing. It's so depressing to think people listen without irony to Bill O'Reilly.
