Cool, hopefully he'll play somewhere else in Scandinavia (apart from the Roskilde festival, of course).

According to the papers here in Sweden and Gröna Lunds website, the 2th of july is the right date.
This will be the first time I see Noel Gallagher solo. Gonna be fun. Hopefully the weather is alright.

Great to hear he's playing more dates in Scandinavia. I'm still hoping for a date in Norway, though.

Its gonna be really interesting to see what Noel thinks of the venue. Its a stage in the middle of an amusement park. Gonna be great to see him again, I saw him at Hultsfreds festival last time he was in Sweden and it was amazing.

Great to hear he's playing more dates in Scandinavia. I'm still hoping for a date in Norway, though. The question is whether to buy tickets for the gig in Copenhagen or Stockholm, or take a chance and wait in hope that they'll announce that he's playing a gig in Norway too. Let's hope the experience of playing the hopeless gig at Kollenfest in Oslo last time doesn't scare them from making him play a concert here this time too. Would be a bit weird if he came to Denmark and Sweden but not to Norway.

The gig on the 17th of March is sold out, if that's the one you're referring to (and it was sold out ages ago since the venue is tiny).

Didn't mean to confuse you

The venue can take up 20.000 iirc, and that will never sell out completly. Every time Ive been to a concert there I've bought my ticket at the door, since its an amusement park there will be people there more interesting in going on the rollercoaster than watching a concert.

I'm hoping for a gig at Sentrum Scene/Rockefeller or that he's gonna play at Øya.

You're correct about the vg-lista show, if you're spending so much money to get big artists to a festival that isn't free, you better make sure it's not the same day as hugely popular show in the same city, that is free and also easier to travel to... And to have Noel playing the biggest stage in front of 15.000 (?) people, where most of them were "camping" to get a good spot to watch Rihanna play after him... You just felt that everyone would give you weird looks if you sang along or shouted things to Noel, it didn't exactly work very well for the atmosphere..... Though they couldn't really be blamed for the incredibly thick fog that arrived too. No wonder they went bankrupt

Nah, Ive seen quite a few bands there and I cant say that the rides distract you. It just makes for a special environment for a gig. Most of the people at the Tivoli at the the time of the concerts are there for the concerts anyways.
