Hey, I still haven't gotten around to getting it, I'm wondering if the 3CD version has the dimensions of a normal CD jewel case or is it bigger? I'm probably way too late to let you know now but here is the 3 disc version next to the original 1 disc for comparison. it is thicker obviously and a tiny bit taller. Not late at all! This is exactly what I wanted, I was wondering if the reissues would fit in my CD shelf. Many thanks! (also, nice guitar)

Anyone else think it's weird the reissues are under the Chasing The Sun banner and yet we haven't got a demo or even a live version of Slide Away?

It is a bit, yeah. BUT we do have a remastered albumversion? Right? Right?

It is a bit, yeah. BUT we do have a remastered albumversion? Right? Right? We'll yeah obviously but you still think they'd find something, even an early acoustic demo with Noel on vocals or something. A replica of the slide away promo cd included in the boxset version would have done the trick!

It was a pain to read all 36 pages in this thread. I was surprised to find out that Owen posted here, really cool stuff. He seemed so ecstatic about how the remasters turned out, using his original mixes. I will apologize when I thought he also supervised in brickwalling the remaster as well - I guess that was something Ignition did because they got cold feet to release non-vinyl fully dynamic Oasis records.
It sucks that the remasters actually sounded worse than the original, especially Definitely Maybe. People were really trying to be audiophiles here and couldn't tell a difference. They forked over one as fans over these remasters and we deserve better, not any of this cash cow nonsense. Oasis isn't getting money from ticket sales anymore, so find better ways to make fans happy Ignition. Be Here Now's remaster better be proper and stay true to Owen Morris's original vision.
