Might as well give that £20 to charity mate, its not happening. Great odds, agreed, but for a reason.

I think Man Utd will beat Bayern - I really do.
I've got a feeling Bayern are on the ropes - if its anything like the dull crap they offered at Old Trafford, then Man Utd are favourites perhaps? Must admit - I'm really not liking them at the moment. They strike me as an arrogant bunch who have underestimated United - that journalist who suggested that to Guardiola seemed to hit a nerve with him.

David Moyes set to be sacked.
Feel very sorry for him, he's a good man and one of the last guys you'd want to suffer this. It has been a nightmare for him.
I thought he should be given a chance, I honestly thought scoring 4 goals in each of their last two games and giving Bayern Munich a good game showed progress. The Everton match seems to be the last straw - getting booed from Everton fans, Man Utd played very very poorly. Must be a living hell for him and so gut wrenching for him.

Its probably for the best, I've never disliked him but was always aware that there are better options out there for a club like united. I do feel sorry for him as it was never going to be easy although getting paid the remaining 5 years of his will ease that a bit.
I will say this however, whoever hires him after he is sacked as expected, will be onto a winner. He is still a very good manager but unfortunately not for a club the size of United following English footballs best ever manager.

They have been awful since January - one thing with Pardew is he seems to do well with good players and gets the best out of them, but a couple of good players leave and he can't improve average players. To be honest, the Newcastle job is a poisoned chalice whoever takes control because of their terrible owner Mike Ashley.

What I want to know is how the fuck did we take only 1 point from our matches against them, and failed to score, against such a travesty of a team.
Seriously, the current Utd team is so poor. How SAF was able to win the league with them last season, I will never know.

4 out of those 5 points were from Arsenal. Fucking hell, Arsene. And that's pathetic - for both Utd and Arsenal.

How SAF was able to win the league with them last season, I will never know. Obviously Ferguson was a factor, Van Persie's goals, but Man City's attitude, dressing room rebellion and terribly cautious tactics made their title defence from 2012 a complete joke. Chelsea? Complete joke with Di Matteo who fluked a Chmapions League but is awful. Only made 4th because Benitez cleaned up a lot of mess. Arsenal? We all know their fannying about at stages of the season has become a mainstay in Premier League, lost stability by selling Van Persie to United. Tottenham? Running on the wave of Harry Redknapp's relatively successful tenure and of course Gareth Bale. Everton? As seen this season, better than people think, but no where near chamions material. Liverpool? Surprise of the season, but Rodgers inherited a complete clusterfuck of a club in 2012. Millions wasted on overpaid average players and it was going to take a while for Rodgers to implement his training methods as players got used to it. Terrible first half in 2012, but the second half saw them as one of the top four as players began to get used to Rodgers tactics. Little wonder, that they have continued in ascendency. So the massive failings of all the big clubs meant Man Utd with the stability of Ferguson and buying Van Persie led to an open goal. In terms of quality, the 2012/13 season was one of the worst Premier League seasons ever. If Ferguson was in charge this season, I think they would pip Arsenal to top four but I couldn't see them ahead of City, Liverpool and Chelsea who all got their act together.

In terms of quality, the 2012/13 season was one of the worst Premier League seasons ever. Shame, then, for this year's champions, that United have devalued their achievement by failing to mount a title challenge. To make matters worse Arsenal are, well, Arsenal, and Chelsea don't even have a decent centre forward. Yet another substandard Premier League season, I'm afraid.

Well, a Man Utd fan would say that when Liverpool look good for the league... A Mourinho Chelsea is always going to be tough to beat (even if he did fuck up in the market with strikers), and Pellegrini has made Man City an attractive playing side after the turgid previous season. Plus Liverpool are playing the best football in the league. Arsenal are just Arsenal of course. This season, for the neutral, has been one of the greatest, and with Liverpool on 11 wins in a row and the usual 70 points which is good enough for Champions League nowhere near good enough for the top four, I hardly think that equates to a sub-standard league.

There's no such thing as a 'demise' for Man Utd. They are far too big to demise, any other club in the Premier League would be a worry if they were in such a situation but decades of success and financial power means they can afford such blip. And that's what it is - merely a blip.
As for manager, Giggs or Van Gaal - either is a good choice I feel. Van Gaal's record with the Netherlands is actually brilliant, they've only conceded 5 goals in the qualifying for the World Cup and scored 35 goals (I think it's that many goals anyway).
I'd probably go for Van Gaal personally, if it goes tits up with him in charge then they can fall back on Giggs anyway.
There's been talk of Guardiola for United, but weren't his tactics a bit one dimensional last night against Madrid? He's walked an uncompetitive German league this year, but their Champions League performances were a far far cry from Henyckes last season - almost a pale shadow of their former selves.

no matter how bad it gets at united it will never be as bad as the current republican party. You don't learn, do you? The midterms in 2014 is going to be another "shellacking", with there being a good chance of the GOP taking the Senate. Wonder what other half baked sentence you're going to come up with next?
