Basic cable and paid premium channels are run by totally different set of rules. While not against the fcc to have nudity on basic cable most networks wont do it because of advertisers and backlash from certain viewers. When you subscribe to HBO, Showtime, etc. you understand its unedited and may have mature content especially at night.

I've been watching the first 3 seasons in the last couple of weeks on Sky On Demand. It's very good, my wee brother has been raving about it for ages but I never paid attention, my mistake.
He gave me the first book last night to read so will need to make a start on that soon.

Breaking Bad might be better technically with its writing and all that stuff. But GOT just has a sense of grandness and wonder that isn't matched by any show right now.
With Eastbound and Down over this is probably my favorite show.

Would of been more of a shock to see things rather than read them, But hey ho That's the only reason why I haven't read them. I wanna be surprised on the show. Plus the show is catching up to the books. They might be finished before Martin is.

They are actually worried he could die before the books are finished. Supposedly he told the producers of the show the ending so if they catch up or he dies they can complete the series.

That's cool I know he said he knows the ending so would make sense. Obv he said the path he makes up as goes along (as such) I'd be surprised if the producers would be as keen to kill of people like he is tho

Past episode was really a well-written welcome back. It reminded me why Game of Thrones is just jammed packed with entertainment. Gotta love Tyrion and his struggles.
Andy Greenwald's recaps on Grantland are really well done as well, accompanies the show very well.

The first episode of a season is always a way to catch up on the story. FFS they have so many characters with weird names I can barely keep up This scene cracked me up
