It pissed me off that they played My Big Mouth. It went down like a led balloon at the gigs i seen them play it. No one knew the fucking words apart from me.
Imagine the reaction D'you Know What I mean or Stand By Me would have got.
And deep down Noel knows it. He's just stuck in his way about Be Here Now. They only played My Big Mouth after Andy pushed him for about 10 years.

I'm still hopefull for a fresh approach for the Autumn gigs.
Whether it's RC or not, I just want to hear different songs in the set.

Rockin' Chair is INCREDIBLY difficult to sing. That and Don't Go Away are the two most difficult to sing, IMO.

It's another one of those song which I think he could pull off, IF they performed it like the Abbey Rd session. But if they played it full electric, then it could be difficult. He shouted the arse off it when he sang it back in '95.

Rockin Chair isn't that hard to sing as such. The way Liam performed it in 1995 was stressful and difficult on the vocal cords, but he could easily nail if he doesn't try and belt it out. An acoustic of it at sessions like Abbey Road and such would be perfect.

I thought MBM 2009 was massive! Listen FM Werchter Festival... Sure it didnt have that 97 groove but I was glad to finally hear something from BHN catalogue...

I don't claim to be the best singer in the world but when I play my guitar and sing along to Oasis songs, I usually don't have a problem with most of them. Rockin' Chair is very tough for me, if I'm singing it in the original key.

Just to be pedantic and clarify, Rockin Chair was played live twice - Bournemouth International Centre and Blackpool Empress Ballroom, both Oct 1995. I think the 2nd and the 5th but I could be wrong.

Re: Twittier.
Maybe he's going to "spin it" on solo tour. Hope so anyway

In lower key it should be doable actually. In the original - no chance.

In lower key it should be doable actually. In the original - no chance. Given he was already struggling with it's original key live back in the early years of Oasis, it should probably be quite a bit lower now. I can't imagine Rockin' Chair in a much lower key, actually.

It would be difficult to replicate the studio version so might need a lower key but then again, along with Some Might Say, Listen Up and Slide Away, it is probably Liam's greatest vocal.
