I don't know why but Liam tries to sing the "Soul Love" part much higher live than he does on the album, he nails the verses but don't know why he tries to go so high for the chorus when he doesn't need to.

Liam's voice is perfect for cry baby cry Good choice. Love to see them do INSTANT KARMA as a concert closer - I think that would suit Liam too and the audince would love it.

Went down to Abbey Road this evening to try to get an autograph or two from the boys. Seems like there were about 60 people present, 30ish competition winners and the other 30 corporate types or from elsewhere. From what I could gather talking to the people who came out there was a meet and greet thing in the garden before, with Liam happily taking pictures and signing things for those lucky enough to be there. Everyone who came out was totally buzzing about the evening, loving the songs (most hadn't heard the album yet) and saying Liam's voice was on top form.
Andy Bell came out not long after the crowd. He was down to earth and chatty as always. He said the gig on Friday will be the same as this one. Also confirmed he wrote Soon Come Tomorrow. I told him how much I loved that tune and he was really cool about it.
Then waited another couple of hours with no sign of Liam or anyone else from the band. A few people came out and told us he was getting wasted in there. Then a security guard came out and said they were going to be absolutely ages as they were 'mixing something' and he had been sent home. Not long after that Chris came out for a cigarette and came over and had a chat with us. First time I've met him and he was really nice. I never realised how broad a scouse accent he has. Anyway, he told us they were just in there 'listening to all kinds of things' and 'certain people will be leaving in a cab, if you know what I mean'. Not long after that (about 11.20pm) I gave up and headed for home. Will try again on Friday at the gig I actually have tickets for. Really pumped for that now!

really amazing, it seems as if they are trying to distance themselves from different gear, still speeding as much as possible, almost as if it never existed. i mean, i realize the whole point of these radio/television appearances is to promote the new record, but you'd think you would at least see the morning son or four letter word in there someplace.... i'm beginning to think that they will completely ignore dgss on the upcoming tour, and not play a single track from it. maybe just play all of the new album, with a few oasis songs sprinkled in here and there.

Forgot to mention, Jay also came out briefly. He was really friendly and approachable, just seemed in awe of being in the band to be honest. Those of us going said we were looking forward to Friday and he was like 'Are we playing something on Friday? What's that? I'm still just trying to learn the songs man.'

Dear Gawd, I hope it's better than Season 3 cause those are the only DVD's I got at the moment, and cause my cable's been cut off. (I know, I know, another hard-luck story yada yada yada It's sad and monotonous because it's true, guys)
