Absolutely , no doubt ......... He simply didnt fit the clubs vision anfpd by that I mean the owners , they don't like his style of play , nobody liked his tactics , he is a good manager , I personally like him It's one of those deals where a. Change was needed , van Persie choosing united was a massive blow , he wanted the attacking game sir Alex promised , not the defense minded , tactics Mancini prefers ... He will bounce back no doubt and get well paid ...... Didn't they give Mancini a contract extension last summer? I'm assuming he's getting most of that. Honestly on that I don't know man cause once the season ends , I focus on baseball..... But if he did get one ...absolutely he will get it , there it is like baseball or all our sports he will get paid ...I just stopped following and concentrated on baseball , except for the van Persie drama , I was in dark about Mancini contract , wish I could help , Anyways I'm out for a bit , I hear your point , and understand it ...I just think it was a marriage that was up , and both will be better , besides Mancini looks better with a tan And staying in Manchester too long will fade that olive skin Talk to ya in a bit my friend

New manager has a big clear out on his hands.
Tevez is talented but a troublemaker and a mercenary. There is a reason Fergie didn't sign him.
YaYa Toure needs a kick up the backside. Puts in a good shift for a while and then spends games completely anonymous. For 200K a week you expect passion and performance levels of a Viera or Keane.
Signing Jack Rodwell was bizarre as was the Sinclar signing, Maicon too who's legs are gone. Good players but not players who'll win you the league or the Champions league.
It's come to light Mancini never set foot into the youth training ground. Bad sign for a manager to do that.
Milner, Lescott, Barry are just not in my opinion players who can take City to the next level.
In Joe Hart, Aguero, Zabaleta, Kompany, Silva and Nastasic you have the bones of a brilliant football team. With the right manager and the right signings City could in maybe 2 years time be a serious force to be reckoned with.

Tevez is most likely going to Monaco anyway, so he won't be a "problem" for the next manager

Mancini was a controversial choice to start what he accomplished based on payroll is not. Majestic ,,, city owners are looking to play beautiful football , Mancini doesnot like that style , united collapsed more than city had a epic comeback. They won but it was united s loss not city's win and I support city .. The tours brothers loss is no different than arsenal or united or any other club that has endured buying African players , they have to go its understood and there's quad is big enough for that . Mancini benefited by influx of funds , the money is what brought city out of darkness not mancini Money always helps to bring success. United, Chelsea, City... success brought the money to United and not the other way around, we just got lucky in that our success started at the beginning of the premiership era and all the tv money.

Even though I support city ...that is very true Ross .... United are the one big club that did it at the start ,of the premier leauge incarnation . Chelsea were never the perennial power in the leauge until the influx funds they were competitive most seasons but not expected to win the leauge or compete for champions leauge year in and out Lord knows city since the 90 s were up and down and needed funds to achieve there new found power , arsenal to wengers credit have never been the juggernaut ( but will always have the undefeated season ) ... That's why I made a thread awhile back who will be the next city personally I hope Liverpool or Newcastle the toon army deserves a contender , but united did it without the massive funds they have now , your spot on ......and I do support city so it hurts to say .

In my head I imagine Mancini's meeting/sacking with ownership going a little like this:

Mancini was not well liked and was personally pretty difficult to deal with. Thats not to say you have to like a mananger but you must respect them and it seems his attitude had lost this. He openly criticised the board after feeling he wasn't supported in the transfer window last summer which was never going to help him.
Mourhinio would be brave to go back to Chelsea because I don't think anything has changed. He had players like Shevchenko imposed on him before nothing to say that won't happen again.
