As a Liverpool fan I am kinda glad about this. Didn't see my 200th post being about Fergie retiring, Get in!!!!
Fair play he achieved a lot, doesn't mean to say I have to suddenly like the man, I despise him but yeh he was a top manager.
Interesting to see what does happen now though, Moyes and Phil Neville to United? Mourinho to United?

Who would have thought this 24 hours ago? The fact I hated the man and the club shows how great he was! I still can't get my head around the fact that Manchester United are now looking for a manager for the first time in my life. Absolutely insane.
How the hell do you replace him? You can't really, he is irreplaceable. His stature is just incredible and for a manager to be, in my opinion, as big as the club is very special for a club as huge as United.
I reiterate that I couldn't stand him or his team, but at the end of the day, it's been a privelege to see such a man in action. In this day and age where no clubs have any patience and loyalty in the sport is scant, it is sad to see him go. The last of a dying breed indeed. I salute you Sir Alex Ferguson.

I wouldn't have minded Gary Neville as the new coach.

Moyes leaves Everton and joins Man Utd - from a Liverpool fans point of view, kill two birds with one stone! Some typical scouse humour here that made me laugh. This is genuine outside Lime Street station in Liverpool.

I wouldn't have minded Gary Neville as the new coach. Needs more time Bruno can't throw him into fire like that accident waiting to happens since i don't support them though , it's a good move All kidding aside that's a job that only a seasonedvet can step into someone who was not Attached at the hip to fergie. They made the right choice ...sadly .... Moyes will be a smooth transition

Best of luck to Moyes. Give a shout out to Paul Scholes who retired today.
A footballing genius.
