Anyone who walks away from a 77 million dollar contract to go home with his family to Russia and play I'm sure , but not for that type of cash warrants respect

Lost in all the espn non stop hype of the NBA Is the fact the rangers are on a improbable run , first off they were the hottest team goung into the playoffs , but then down 3-1 to the mighty pens , all seemed lost , they have since expierenced the death of a teammates mom. Martin St. Louis , and have since not lost a game to now have a 2-0 lead in the semifinals ...... A shame the NHL is lost on America for the most part .....these playoffs have been intense and the cup seems destined to be broadway bound at least for the finals , a win is always a doubt for a team that only raised the cup once since 1940 .....1994 I was there dead fucking center ice Got to drink from the cup at mustang Harry's in NYC on parade day

Can someone shut some Habs fans up please? First Boston bombing now 9/11, For the love of all things hockey get a life you idiots! Full me in ? During he playoffs with Boston, some Habs (again not all) flooded the Facebook NHL page with very discrimatory things an poking fun at the dead (and wishing for more) which I didn't know about either until a Bruins fan got my attention. Those same fans are attacking Rangers fans, unaware Quebec residents were involved in both. Morons, as I am for hitting the quote button.

Probably militants " posing " as fans , I have been to Montreal many many times , they are some serious hockey fans , I think that's the Internet terrorism nuts posing. Jmo

Not many care or even know who he is , but RIP to one of the greatest hockey players of all time AND ONE OF THE GREATEST WINNERS OF ANY SPORT ( yes like russell there were fewer teams )
Jean Belliveau. Was perhaps the most gifted center. Who ever lived until wayne Gretzky and mario lemieaux arrived. He is still in my top 10 who ever laced up skates ,
Belliveau scored 509 goals in a era when scoring 20 a year was hard because defenses could mame you before a penalty was called , and as great a scorer as he was he was a better assist man. , he's considered only behind GRETZKY in seeing the ice ,
The man won 10 stanley cups in 20 seasons. And was a as big a superstar in Canada as JORDAN ever was here
How big was / is he. Like Maurice " rocket " Richard. last week his body lay in state at the bell center for the fans to pay respects .,,,,sadly the old MONTREAL forum is no longer around as that is where was " LE MAGNIFIQUE"
RIP TO A LEGEND NOBODY HERE KNOWS .....OR VERY FEW
