Hate em both! Easter was quiet...husband is deployed for a few weeks so I went to yoga, and spin...cooked. it rained the entire day, so other than gyming it up, i watched tv on the couch. Been watching reruns of the show Whitechapel...British detective show. You ever seen it? Believe it or not dev my mom !!! Of all people told me about it when I picked her up for dinner yesterday. !!! Swear to god ! I have I like first 4 episodes here on demand was gonna watch toomorow after gym ... Dish any good ?? My mom likes it so ill give it a whirl .......where hubby ship to ? Hope not long , fingers crossed Seriously??? Too funny! I like it...the first season and second seasons are each 3 epsiodes and deal with one case. Season 3 has 2 or 3 cases with 6 episodes. Season 4 hasn't aired yet...should be out sometime this year. I really like the two main detectives. IMO it's better than MI5...I was gonna check out the new Sherlock Holmes mini-series too, starring Martin Freeman. I like him

Some of the seasons of MI5, I didn't care if the characters lived or died...I still hated how the end of season 2 ended, Tom Quinn/Matthew McFayden was my favorite guy and the only reason I really watched the show. I'll watch anything he's in. I like Whitechapel because of how they cut the scenes, the editing is kind of cool and a bit creepy. It's strange to watch detectives go around chasing bad guys without guns though...I keep wanting to yell at them to shoot...but they don't have anything to shoot with

But when they were healthy Was there a better duo ever than Mario at center and jagr on right I know Gretzky- kurri Trottier -bossy Stevie y - anybody Oates - hull And old school Belliveau - Richard Mikita- hull All were unreal together ( ok I thru you Stevie y tip of the hat to you. There.) But Lemieux and jagr when you combine there size both about 6 ft 3. With there speed ,power , prowess........I think had Mario not had the cancer and back issues would have gone down as deadliest combo ever couldn't be stopped when they played healthy together ... Seen all since 71-2 That's my deadliest duo and I hate the penguins ! Agree

I have to say right now, the duo that I think is the strongest are the Sedin Twins...and I know they have the weird twin thing going for them, and they can probably read each others minds, but I gotta tell you. I think they're class players, they're drop dead accurate, fast and strong, and if I had to choose a second favorite team in the league right now it would be the Canucks. I added a few other prominent duos for fun! Yzerman and Lidstrom - Wings (You already know how I feel about this one...enough said ) Grestsky and Messier (and Kurri...that line was insane good) - Oilers Jagr and Lemieux - Pens Lindros/Leclair (Legion of Doom) - Flyers Fleury and MacInnis - Flames The Sedin Twins - Canucks Sakic and Forseberg - Avs Orr and Espisito - Bruins Selane and Kariya - Ducks

Awesome ....glad we agree and both hate them!!!!! Agreed on sedin bros unreal and chemistry scary One minor correction. Mess only played with. Gretzky and kurri when dire straits. He led second line of mess - Anderson- Tikkanin ( hey I'm older gotta know something you may forget thank god . ) All other duos you mentioned agreed if we are going Orr espo than we are adding defenseman which Orr with all apologies is was always greatest ever remember I saw both. As usual spot on dev ...let me humbly add Lafluer - le mare habs Dionne - taylor kings Gare - Perrault sabers Clarke - leach - flyers All old school greats AND DEV YOU ARE NOT WRONG WITH MESS KURRI GRETZKY YOUR MEMORY IS CORRECT IN PLAYOFFS THEY DID PLAY TOGETHER SPOT ON ...BUT DURING REG SEASON THEY WERE SPLIT SO LETS GO GRETZKY - KURRI MESS-ANDERSON HOW'S THAT Think we nailed lets see what @nyrdotdotdot has to add Ratelle- Gilbert. I'm sure HEDBERG - niilson ?

Yeah Ratelle-Gilbert, forgot to mention that one earlier. What do you reckon about Crosby-Malkin...everyone's called them the new Jagr/Lemieux or Gretzky/Messier...if Crosby could spend more of the season on the ice than off the ice, do you think they're this generation's powerhouse? Keeping in mind I hate them both and I think they're both dickheads Zetterberg-Datsyuk was a great duo, but they've been moved to separate lines now, can't have just one good line unfortunately these days. Zetteberg/Brunner is looking like an ok matching, we'll see what plays out with the new Swede!

The greatest line of all or anytime !!!! So britishlove Greatest line ever period end os story .....wait .....first let me address Crosby Mackin Yes today's powerhouse no doubt. But they gotta stay healthy to be all time ya know ? Ok the greatest. Line ever bar none is. WAIT ..........let me address. Your other question . Told you I changed the z d line was great you are correct Ok now for the greatest line ever NO DOUBT NO QUESTION NO ARGUMENT. CANADA CUP 1988 in there prime. On one line for all three games one led all scorers the other led in goals and the third was the best player as voted by the players !!!!!! They played together that one time and history has it on tape as do I WAYNE GRETZKY. ( led all players in points). MARIO LEMIEAUX ( led all in goals). MARK MESSIER ( voted outstanding player ) Gretzky center lemieaux on right. Messier on left. BEST EVER END OF STORY. AGREE?

It's hard to beat anything when you put Gretzky in the line...However, I still think if him and Gordie Howe could've played together in their primes, Mr Hockey would've been the better player and he probably would've knocked a few of Mr. Gretzky's teeth out in the process He could shoot left and right, play center, wing and defense. And he could fight with the best of em and was in the top 5 in scoring for 20 seasons. I think he was the better all-around player...(and this is not a slight to Gretzky, who can obviously hold his own with all of his records). However...I'm sticking with the production line for all time greatest hockey line. In 1950 they finished 1, 2, 3 for scoring (a feat that hasn't been recreated since). I also realize I'm completely biased...it's a Detroit thing Gordie Howe - Sid Abel - Ted Lindsay

Line was way more skillful and messier would have had Howe shadowed not Wayne DONT forget ...that would allow Wayne and Mario all the open ice to to create havoc on Abel and Lindsey great players but we are talking Wayne and Mario. I know you are Detroit to the bone but ...it's Wayne and Mario with mess to offset mr hockey ...... You are correct in saying they were the best NHL line ever I concede . But that line played the Russians what many people consider the best team ever they played many NHL teams that year and were unbeaten all three games were decided 6-5 and Gretzky messier lemiaux couldn't be stopped. Game winning goal in to was Wayne to Mario goal....Canada cup Canada !!!! Can we agree That best ever line for talent in any competition My line You got best in NHL ! Deal . See I am mellowed With you anyway

But those 3 couldn't match the production of my 3 and don't forget as tough as mr hockey was mr messier would be the one he faces off with leaving GRETZKY and lemieaux to run amok over Abel and Lindsey. But that is a super line dev I agree in NHL season they me be best but not a dream line like that ....make sense He might neutralize Howe, but he can't neutralize Howe and Terrible Ted. Yours is a great line, and it would've been spectacular to see them play together. But I'm not changing my mind And I do root with my heart, without heart it's just a game!!

britishlove. See what I mean about Sydney "the " kid" Crosby. He is feeling better and will see a doctor in regards to a return ...he can never be in the vain of GRETZKY messier , Mario when mentioning all timers , don't have the numbers , for one and way too fragile hell look at Mario he scored a hat trick the same day he underwent chemotherapy. That's not just tough that's legend ........know you hate the pens as well ......but we were talking about him the other night , here's another example of why he is way to soft in the watered down NHL ,,imagine the how he would fare with taking punishment ,,in my era of the 80 s headhunt years or your dads years following mr hockey

He is feeling better and will see a doctor in regards to a return ...he can never be in the vain of GRETZKY messier , Mario when mentioning all timers , don't have the numbers , for one and way too fragile hell look at Mario he scored a hat trick the same day he underwent chemotherapy. That's not just tough that's legend ........know you hate the pens as well ......but we were talking about him the other night , here's another example of why he is way to soft in the watered down NHL ,,imagine the how he would fare with taking punishment ,,in my era of the 80 s headhunt years or your dads years following mr hockey He's more of a diva than anything

It's playoff time!!!!!!!!!! I'm just so happy we ended up making the playoffs and don't have to faceoff against the Hawks in round one...22 years baby.
