Haha, United go out and yet again it's the ref's fault. It was a red card IMO, very dangerous play. United sat way too deep after it an invited Madrid into the 18 yard box which was pure suicide. Serves them right. Delighted so I am. PS: Fergie having to call on the croud to be ''louder'' is embarrassing. He simply shouldn't have to do that in a tie that big. United fans with their prawn sandwiches, cups of coffee and lack of passion once again.

^Careful, supersonic1983 may call you out for that. While I'm impressed United are out, I had to laugh at sportsbet, refunding only one game (and the "'straya Rules is best game evar idiot, still sore from the Irish flogging us I think)

United fans with their prawn sandwiches, cups of coffee and lack of passion once again. So true I'm a New York Yankee fan. And ever since they built the new stadium the crowd is not the old Yankee crowd anymore I've seen it when I'm home and we have a popular radio program here that I get on the yes network in fla and not only does the sports guy mike Francesca go on about it so do the calllers When I used to go to the old place you could feel the electricity and building shake especially against Boston ( think united/ Liverpool) .last couple of years even in our playoffs when I fly up the noise level not the same it was a big home edge...tickets overpriced way to much for beer and food and fans are like in these resteraunt s during games never saw that in old place. Guess united have same problem

It was never a red card he wasn't even aware the opposition player was there. A shit decision going against an English club in the CL, hardly shocking is it? Another ref making a name for himself. United were the better team as Jose said himself and there was no lack of passion in that ground last night.

Ultimately I just feel it's a shame that a fascinating tie between two great teams was settled by an extremely objectionable decision. United's players were in a daze for ten minutes after Nani's red, and unfortunately ten minutes was all that Real needed. Still, I can't fault United on any level. They performed fantastically in both legs, and did not deserve to be knocked out in those circumstances.

This sort of bitterness is why I despise Liverpool FC. I believe it's called rivalry not bitterness. We just hate United as much as they hate us.

When that rivalry leads you to writing a load of stuff you wouldn't apply to another team it seems like bitterness. Not a red card Better side Fergie asked the crowd for more in response to the sending off. But you know all that tbh.

along with goal line replay, card replay is being added as well?
other refs should at least be allowed to overturn other refs calls, and/or maybe add another ref?
God bless.

Fergie asked the crowd for more in response to the sending off.I don't know how you get bitterness from that, it's simply rivalry, if the shoe was on the other foot etc.... Still ridiculous and the way Ferdinand was clapping in the face of the ref and then shook his hand at the end was also ridiculous.

It's debatable but in my opinion Barca's #10 is the best of all time. Well if you don't take national teams he is one of the best. If you do then he is below players like Hirsto Stoikov and Andrey Shevshenko who were more useful for their teams than Messi up to this day.
