They are the best players in their history though. I'm a Bolton fan, we have lots of history but if I was to pick boltons best team it'd probably be full of players from Sam allardyces team a couple of years back when we were at our best with the exception of the odd player like Nat Lofthouse. City's history is riddled with relegation and mid table finishes, now they've won the league that is of course their best team

Yeah but Mike Summerbee is a proven legend, so are many other players - Tevez has made an absolute mockery of City in his stint there (more often than he has done good for them I would say) If a player refused to go on the pitch for my team he would be lambasted and I would refuse to acknowledge him. Players like Clichy .... really? How is he city's greatest ever left back. Silly City - small club mentality. Bolton have lot's of history as well, but Sam Allardyce's team are ingrained in that - Okocha is a legend there - as is big Kevin Davies etc

He's a city legend. Apparently. It is hilarious - not only do City fans think Manchester is blue (it is red) they also think players like Clichy, Tevez and Nasri are legends at their massive, massive club

Tévez has more balls than a dozen of English players.

He has no balls. He is a coward - instead of facing the music that he decided the leave Manchester United to go to City (for money) he decided to run off to Argentina, screw over the fans who adored him by refusing to play in the Champions league (something they had only dreamt of playing in years before) slagging off the city and then demanding a transfer. That isn't having balls it is being an utter disgrace. When he was at United he scored a goal against City and, instead of celebrating with 75,000 screaming fans who realised we were on the way to yet another trophy he decided to go up to the clubs (and leagues) greatest ever manager and pull a face at him. That is disrespectful. If someone like Michael Carrick, Glen Johnson, Kevin Davies (I.E. the 'lesser' players) did that they would not only be lambasted by all corners of the media but not be signed by anybody else due to a poor attitude. Tevez does not have balls, what he does have is a fucking terrible attitude problem and a stupid ugly face that I wouldn't piss on if it was on fire. X

Carlos Tevez has a terrible attitude no doubt but he is one hell of a player. Man Untied could sure do with a player like him now...

lol. Just sounds that while City is getting their first taste of being United. United is getting their first taste of being City. Bitter. Not that I give a crap about soccer/football

I may sound bitter (maybe I am, I don't think I am but people looking at me probably have a better idea because I don't know what I look / sound like) but I don't think I am. City are still the smaller club, with no history and who simply have an owner throwing cash at them to make a quick route to success. All of United's success has come from building blocks of youth development. Starting in the 40's and 50's we had the best team and all of them came from the youth team. We then went through a 26 year dry patch, only to be sorted out eventually by our youth team (and Sir Alex). City may have won the battle but the war ain't over yet . Back to the point though, Noel (and indeed every City fan) is clueless. It is amusing

Their team is miles better than yours but your manager is miles better than there's...

Yes exactly. I think the RVP signing edges it in our favour. But i don't know; both sides have their flaws imo. I think Fergie + RVP and Rooney will win us the title. Defending a trophy is very different and City will discover that - everyone will want to beat them and we will see how they handle that. If they retain it then they will challenge for years and years and years. But I don't think they will. What about your lot? Very surprised to see you go down but you will bounce straight back up IMO

It's kind of how the old money view the new money as gauche. Give it a while and as long as the money doesn't go away they'll be indistinguishable. Seems to me the reason that United were better were because of money to pay good player, reputation to attract good player, and an excellent manager. Not any sort of divine right or because red uniforms are beneficial. Now City has the money, they are developing a reputation, and the have a coach that seems to be working for them. Assuming the money stays flowing into City they'll probably be able to stay roughly on pace with United for a while. And who knows what'll happen when Ferguson finally retires. The lack of history will be solved by time.

Things aren't great at Bolton we've won one drawn one and lost one but there are a lot of games in the championship so it's early days. Last season our two best players were injured all season now one of them's back in lee Chung Yong so fingers crossed...

But you're mistaken - Fergie wasn't a massive name when he took over. He was a manager with a massive amount of respect and potential but not one who people were expecting to take over at United. He then built up the club like a phoneix from the flames! But I do get your point - as long as City keep spending anything is possible! It's kind of how the old money view the new money as gauche. Give it a while and as long as the money doesn't go away they'll be indistinguishable. They're actually ahead of us at the minute which is pretty gutting but it won't last not with Steve Kean at the helm...

I have a lot of respect for Steve Kean mate. I think he has done so well to withstand the abuse from Ewood Park. I'm a season ticket holder at United and I genuinely get to as many away games as possible - Ewood park being close by I go nearly every season and those fans are fucking nuts IMO and they HATE him. He's a decent coach and the players seem to like him. Owen Coyle is the dogs bollocks though - you'll go up as champions, geography tells me I should hate Bolton as much as you probably hate United but I don't mind you lot!!

Every man u fan I know hates us, along with most of the other clubs in the premier league I think Kean handled last season well though its got to be said, I just don't like the man. I don't know if you've seen that video of him on YouTube swearing his arse off and calling allardyce a crook and then saying Blackburn were going to win the league cup or something ;D he looks like a proper idiot off camera

I think Fergie + RVP and Rooney will win us the title. Rooney is a lazy and complacent footballer whose role at United is about to be put under severe scrutiny. And not before time.

Rooney is most definitely not lazy. I am actually good mates with Brian McClair (well my dad is but I am too by association) and he says that Wayne Rooney works his bollocks off in training. I think the whole pres speculation regarding Rooney leaving is utter nonsense and we will see him do well this season - he was ace last year. People say 'he's off the boil this season' but he has played about 110 minutes or something like that. Get a grip!
And yeah i did see Steve Kean's little rant, it was hilarious, he does seem like a bit of a numoty, doesn't he? haha
