The objective inaccuracy in the commentary for the GB v Brazil footie is something to behold.

My country is competing in very few sports. They're all amateur, and don't receive many support from the authorities.. Actually, the only sport we really like in Uruguay is football -I do love football, but I think this is a shame-, so here we are expecting to see football football and more football. This games will be amazing, I'm sure. Olympics always are.
Is there any sport that you are looking forward to see?

the GB womens team played all their good football in the first half when i was at work and unable to watch and the GB mens team played very little good football, so a little disappointing. Know i hope that dany boyle has done something with the millions spend on the opening ceremony.

Bond & The Queen goes straight in the top 5 TV moments ever for me!
Gutted for Cav, the peloton not helping GB out when chasing the leading pack really messed up the plan i think, too much work for 4 guys.

"It's teams of five, not teams of nine."-Stuart O'Grady on Cav's comment we helped him lose. In fact, what were the other 4 doing?

In fact, what were the other 4 doing? they had to play to cav strength which is the sprint finish it just didn't work out i'm not sure they could have played it any other way. also if you talk to someone right after their dream has been shattered you can't expect them to always come up with the most considered answer, even if in this case i don't think cav said anything wrong.

Thank God for streams, since a certain channel thinks Australia is the only country in existence (I am about to submit my complaint to the media watchdog.)

Channel 9 (unlike Pay TV's Foxtel) would rather subject us to 30 reruns of swimming than anything else. They only showed us the last minute between us and Brazil, and won't listen to us. Same with the Rugby World cup.
PS. Is there a grip that weightlifters have to use? Some of them I'm seeing have this poor grip (Turkish and Ukranian)

The standard channels are showing mostly british caompetitiors but if you wished to avoid it you could. As for the rugby world cup every match was shown on british tv. Ian Thorpe is working for the bbc, is he doing any work for aussie tv/radio?

Instead we have Mr. Mental Case, Grant Hackett. Edit: Is there any reason the Taipei competitor in the weightlifting is bowing every attempt? It isn't Bejing I hope the coach knows

A great start for William Henzell, I was expecting a walkover from his opponent.
