at least wear an oasis tee shirt or a noel tee shirt so we know who we all are, lets say all meet at the bar itself and stand there.

So anyone else going to this concert alone? Sadly yes. I have no Oasis-fan friends. And no one was willing to shell out $45 to sit by themselves in the place, let alone $65 to sit near me. Meeting up with others after, though.

Yeah, I'd like to. Rock Bottom's a good place, too - been there before.

Seats look to be the best I've ever had, row G in the orchestra.
Is anyone opening for him on the tour? Haven't found it mentioned anywhere, so I assume just local bands or no one at all.
I'm coming all the way from North Carolina. Closest the Gallaghers ever come is 6 hours, Washington DC or Atlanta, so decided to make a trip out of it instead.
Never been to Boston. Anything I should see? Anywhere I should eat?

Coming up from Philly on Sat for the show after the 1st night in philly. My flight was 99 roundtrip so why not? I hope noel switches up the set a bit but thats likely wishful thinking on my part. Will be fun no matter what he plays.
I have been to boston three times before. Its a walkable city. I seriously never even use cabs when i go there.
Does anyone know the best T stop to get off for the Wang theater. There seems like there are 2 or 3 options on google maps.
The Hours are the band thats opening for him.
Anyone know a bar near the Wang that has guinness on tap. Seems like rock bottom is mostly inhouse/micro beers.

The closest T stop is at the Tufts Medical Center - it's literally the same block as the Wang Theater. I'm not a T frequenter, though, so I couldn't tell you all the red-line, green-line info.
Great to hear of people traveling from afar (for cheap, too). I go out in Boston probably only once or twice a year - and I live 45 miles away.

Yeah, Tufts Medical Center (on the Orange line) is probably the closest stop, but you can also get there from the Boylston T stop (Green line) walking. www.mbta.com/schedules_and_maps/subway/ is the website for the T. They have trip planners and stuff on that site if you need it. If it's a nice day, the Freedom Trail is a nice walk to see the historic areas of Boston. There are tons of places to eat in Faneuil Hall. The Common and Public Gardens are also nice walks if the weather is good. www.cityofboston.gov/visitors/ has some more info EDIT: Jacob Wirth has guiness, I believe. It's just down the street from Rock Bottom, about equal distance to the Wang. www.jacobwirth.com/

We got in to Boston today, hung out around Harvard a bit. Now drinking Guinness at a pub called The Field. First time here, and liking it so far aside from the rain!

I always go to Harvard Square. Great area. You'll love Boston. And the Wang Theater is awesome. Really not a bad seat unless you're waaay in the back of the balcony.

For anyone visiting Boston that wants a good meal, check out Pagliuca's in The North End district, located on Parmenter St. Then walk around the corner and grab some sweets at Mike's Pastry, or Italian gelato at the Cafe Vittoria (both on Hanover St.).
I'll be sitting back in row Y...wish I could meet some of you people but I won't be getting to the theater until after 7-ish because one of the friends I am going with may have to work until 6pm or so. Enjoy the show, everyone!
