and like i said, bring the rioters here.......it'd liven up my day, i need to release some anger, the drugs aren't cutting it. i sometimes lack human emotion, i could probably be construed as 'sociopathic' but i'm also highly emotional so that term doesn't work..
i am the shepard and i care for the weak....
God bless.

Get an sandbag and start training... it works a lot(and improves your starminia) i don't like to resort to violence but sometimes it's necessary. i'm like that guy you don't fuck with it, at least one of them, anyway. the average everyday person doesn't fuck with me. and of course, i have my limits, too. there's certain people i won't fuck with, i'm not completely stupid. but the average everyday citizen, who lives a normal life is scared of me. i have presence and i exude it. think about it. aloha!

Oh really? Tell me about it. So people are not afraid to use their weapons in America? Everyone knows that! And it won't stop anyone from protesting whenever it's time to. The US economy is falling apart. But do you really wanna compare the number of gun deaths per year in the US and in the UK? It IS wild when you have a shitload of weapons running around the country and you have no control over it. It's not safer, it's much more dangerous. And it is not gonna solve any of the social problems you have, otherwise Iraq would be the safest place to be right now. Anyway, guns wouldn't make things any prettier in London, or Manchester, or Santiago, or Madrid, or Cairo, or anywhere else you're having trouble with people protesting against their government because of their shitty neoliberal social (if that's possible) policies. And if worrying about other people's lives being taken makes me a pussy, so be it. you're using terrible examples..... iraq? technicaly there's a war going on there right now, of course it's dangerous. i'm not arguing about this but make no mistake, one of the main reasons the u.s. grew to be, and is the most powerful country in the world is because of the right to bears arms, that's a true story. and, i'm not saying go out and shoot people, i don't even own a weapon but i'm just sayin'. aloha! Okay, not arguing, just discussing. But tell me which are the terrible examples? I know US is the most powerful nation in the world, but what's the price of it? I can see all the money the government spend on weapons, "war on terrorism" and military technology, and that really can make you the most powerful nation on the planet. But at the same time it's been at least 4 years that the country's falling apart: millions of people lost their jobs, houses, mortgages, students graduate and don't get a decent job... Anyway, I'm not saying it's the end of the world, but the point is: if you analise all these riots, or protests, or whatever you name them, superficially and the only solution you can come up with is "these kids should get a life and everyone should get a gun", think twice and deeper.

Who could say that one day you'd have a terrorist attack in Oslo. but I hope it doesn't happen in Scotland any soon. I hope it doesn't get to a point where it should happen anywhere, to be honest.

you guys need the right to bear arms, that's exactly what separates and makes the U.S. the most powerful country in the world, if more people have weapons there's less craziness, those rioters aren't busting into homes and shops where there's people brandishing a 9mm. i don't know what the riots are about, i've been out of it for like three days........peyote. but yeah, i don't even live in a very violent area but i live in a suburb of columbus, ohio where there's people killed every day but it's also not that wild and there's never rioting. think about it. aloha! moron

Why not blaming also a system which is against the black, poor, young people living in Tottenham, Hackney, Brixton, Enfield, wherever...? Why should "kids" have any respect for a police that since 1990 killed +1000 people under its custody? Just wanna debate about this stuff and racionalize the discussion. Not trying to be ironic or whatever. I'm checking these protests and reading both sides of the discussion carefully. Anyway, why blaming the "kids" only? Looting and rioting is wrong, but what led them to that?

It has nothing to do with the system. If kids are being stupid and doing shit like this, it's because they're hanging out with the wrong crowd and their parents lack responsibility. There's a difference between those who cause mischief and those that destroy.

In an ideal world, LIB would be right about guns. It would practically induce the MAD principle that prevented the US and USSR from a nuclear war. If I know every person I pass may have a gun, then it would be in my best interest not to pull out my gun as that would incite violence and invite someone to shoot me.
However, it doesn't work like that with guns. MAD worked because you had rational enough leaders who understood that. With the average gun carrying citizen, you have the prospects of suicidal indifference (think Columbine, VA Tech, terrorists, etc), or simply the crazed and perhaps mentally insane people (think Gabby Gifford's shooter), or those who act on impulse (think the threat of violence escalating in the likes of domestic disputes, bank robberies, etc), and think about all the accidental shootings (think of little Johnny who stumbles across his dad's gun, messes with it and blows himself or his friend away by mistake).
I do believe in the cliche that "Guns don't kill people, people kill people", but that's exactly why we can't have loose gun laws. It freaks me out that you can carry a concealed weapon in DC, and that anyone I pass on the metro may be carrying a gun. That's very unnerving.
As for the UK riots, you have no idea how pissed off I am at these fucking idiots. Seriously, who burns down their own fucking city? Also, don't these idiots realize that they'll have to pay even more as the rebuilding will come from them, the taxpayers?
Who needs Al-Qaeda when we have these morons?
People are stupid.

Looting and rioting is wrong, but what led them to that? This is not a political issue. It's simply criminal opportunism. If anything, it shows the failure of the welfare state. This is a good article about it: www.theaustralian.com.au/news/opinion/less-political-rebellion-more-mollycoddled-mob/story-e6frg6zo-1226111939883Giving them a sense of justification and motive when they don't originally have one will only spur them on and think they are actually doing something that garners some level of sympathy. Remember after 9/11 people kept saying terrorism is caused by impoverish conditions and lack of hope and opportunities? Well that was proven wrong. Most terrorists come from the middle class. Don't try to provide any empathy or give them any reason to be even more motivated - it will only fester and feed into their 'cause' even more. These are simply chavs who are feeding off each other's violence for the sake of it. I hope the police actually grow a pair and react more sternly to get back control.

It's quite simple really its nothing to do with the government, cuts, the shooting or anything like that. It's just pathetic little chav scumbags running around in big groups trying to show how 'G' they are. That's all it is, there's no one else to blame, these rioters are just nastly little shits by nature. Time for the police to start getting really aggressive imo.
Nobody start with all that shit about them being disadvantaged or underprivileged either because its crap! Just because you're poor or live in a bad area doesn't mean you have no choice but to start carrying knives, tawkin lite dat, pretending you're some 'gangsta' and just being a fuckbag in general. People do actually have control over who they are.
Ordinarily I wouldn't be that bothered but it's looking more and more likely that this is gonna affect the start of the football season in some way and if Norwich's opener at Wigan gets postponed because of some ugly little fucking wannabe G's then I will not be happy because I've been waiting months for this!
