Why you moan about your economics if you are one of the strongest countries in the world? Think of third world countries... and no I'm not Bono and im not related to U2 that's a pretty extreme comment. most any country's strong compared to a third world country. the U.S. is a mess right now and it's only getting worse, it's sad. the country's not just divided, the divided are divided. and nothing's gonna change until people get over themselves and begin working together. i love the United States but i'm embarrassed to be an american right now. God bless.

why didn't the republicans have a problem with burning the money for playing wargames overseas? "Knock Knock" "Who's there?" "What the" "What the who?" "What the fuck are we doing in Libya?" what the fuck are you doing in iraq? what the fuck are you doing in afghanistan? we could go on like this forever with almost every government. since when have you become a pacifist? again: why didn't the republicans have problems with raising the debt ceiling for their two wars and now make a big deal out of it?

again: why didn't the republicans have problems with raising the debt ceiling for their two wars and now make a big deal out of it? Because they arent the ones behind it? If that's the answer then they are hypocrites

Afghanistan always made sense. Iraq made sense at the time. Libya has never made sense, and we never even had a proper concrete objective for that matter.....

Also, defense is a legitimate concern and responsibility of the federal government invoked in the constitution...social engineering and wealth redistribution are not.

listen, l4e… about the black thing, george w. bush led us into this mess. he took a record surplus and brought us into a record deficit. where were the tea partiers then?
you say that "at least bush led." yeah, led us right into a fucking ditch.
this is what it comes down to. the republicans have no brains and the democrats have no balls. the republicans were the ones who fucked up the economy. democrats, who had a super majority in congress for two years, couldn't get shit done because they're pussies. they continued bush-era republican policies, including the tax breaks for the top 1%, at the expense of the american economy and population. ("meet the new boss, same as the old boss." -pete townshend)
the republicans have fought tooth and nail to nearly EVERY piece of legislation the democrats have tried to pass. why? so they could fuck up the country so badly that the american people blame the republicans. guess what? it's working. look at what happened yesterday-- the same people who voted AGAINST the debt ceiling being raised are now criticizing obama for the credit rating drop. the republicans derailed the train, and now blame obama because he was the engineer driving.

Like *cough* Canda *cough* canda? is that like canada? you call that arrogance, i call it ignorance and politics. these people were holding the economy hostage in order to gain more power. you think they gave a crap about what was going on anywhere else in the world? they were playing a game. they just happened to nearly fuck the entire world over. by the way, this "arrogant american" bullshit needs to end, too. the rest of the world needs us. they need us to be the world police because they don't want to get their hands dirty. as soon as the united states finally starts to get shit done, those same countries just bitch and complain about how the united states are arrogant for trying to police the world. you want proof? look at gaddafi and libya right now. you didn't see the french or the germans doing shit. they had quite an opportunity to take action, but only waited until the united states got involved. then they willingly let us take over and then criticized us for doing so. it's a no win for the united states when it comes to almost anything when it comes to foreign relations or policy.
