I'm going to see Kasabian this friday in Edmonton. Pretty stoked on it, they will definitely bring the class (even tho it's going to be an underattended show, I feel).
Anyway, my question, I haven't been paying attention to their last couple of shows, what are the setlists like?

After thinking about it a lot, I'm pretty disappointed with Kasabian's Boston gig. They were good, but the crowd was horrible and the band seemed distant. Maybe they've been playing arenas for too long? Looked like they were having a good time, but it just left me kind of wanting more from the performance. Doesn't help that I hated the venue they played at, I suppose.

Throw 'Julie and the Moth Man' into that mix as well. It was a b-side to 'Underdog'. If we're doing B-sides as well: Julie and the Mothman Pistols At Dawn Cunny Grope Lane Ketang Stay Away From The Brown Acid (Part 1) I recommend Beneficial Herbs (Demo), b-side to Cutt Off.

Would be very very nice if someone had the download of the CD from Kasabian Live! in Brighton (28/11) or at O2 Arena (14/12). "Concert Live" released this in CD but only O2 Arena is available to buy and the price is very expensive. I only find some tracks on YouTube.

O2 Arena (14/12)

Saw Kasabian in Chicago on Monday, and they were absolutely brilliant. It was my first time seeing them live (even being a fan since the first album) and they did not disappoint.
Also, they played an acoustic set at the Apple Store a couple of hours before the gig, and I was at that too. I have to listen again, but they played 3 tunes from Velociraptor! and LSF. It was very cool to see them in that setting.

In my opinion: Velociraptor! and Kasabian > West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum

OH FUCK YES. For the record, I really enjoyed their Boston gig. The crowd was pretty bad, but overall that didn't detract from my enjoyment of the gig - if anything it made me get into it more out of a slight nagging sense of guilt. Impressive as the O2 was, I had a better gig experience here.

Wow, they sounded pretty fantastic on the Coachella screen. Good time slot too; smaller stage, and later at night.

have any of the US fans looked into this new concert dvd/blu ray? I'd love to get it, but I want to make sure it is compatible with my Blu Ray player or Imac DVD player. I once bought a Lord Don't Slow Me Down Blu Ray copy and it didn't work :/

I once bought a Lord Don't Slow Me Down Blu Ray copy and it didn't work :/ I can't find any region information for the release, but apparently most blu rays aren't region encoded and as I'm sure this won't be getting a separate American release they probably won't bother with one for this. Still, it'd be worth checking closer to the release date if they put up more information.

Top live act for sure. Just watched their BBC Electric Prom gig way back from 2006, fantastic stuff.

So epic last night!
They played:
Days Are Forgotten Let's Roll Just Like We Used To Underdog Man Of Simple Pleasures Goodbye Kiss LSF Fire
Fire wasn't meant to be played. It was on a couple of the setlists, before LSF, but it was scrubbed out... they ended up playing it after Tom said "do you want another one?" and the roof got torn off by the cheers! Met Ian and Jay after, too. Also shook Tom's hand, and got Serge's water bottle. Also, Tom was talking about his beard and said "That's fatherhood for you. You think I'm joking, but I'm not"... He tapped Serge on the elbow after, so I don't know if it was a joke, or what...
Anyway, TOTALLY EPIC GIG.

Where was this? I bet Let's Roll was epic! It was at a "secret" venue in Soho called The Box... And yeah, it was EPIC!

Getting quite sick of Kasabian tbh.
Velociraptor is a good album but they've regressed since WRPLA and Suck it and See shits on it from a great height. Songs like Rewired are about as commercial and awful as you can get as well.
They're also pissing me off with their lazy choices of b-sides. Putting out remixes is bad enough but how can you put out an instrumental as the only b-side for Rewired?

I love them, but I mentioned this a while back, and had loads of people having a go at me... It was actually 2 live songs from the Boeing gig, that had been on YouTube for months... I thought that if they didn't really have much of an idea for a new song, they could have just gone into the studio for a day, and recorded a cover. Not that hard, is it? Glad someone agrees with me, though :/
