Can't argue with that.
Rooney, Ronaldo, Kaka eat your hearts out.
This kid is going after Maradona and Pele

I think you'll find that there are plenty of people, including myself, who can and will argue with that.

Messi is not God. He is currently the best player in the world though. this. He isnt on the list of the 5 best players ever only because he dosnt play that well with la albiceleste and havent won a WC and i think this one isnt going to be the one for messi or argentina.

I don't think Messi will eventually end up like Ronaldinho since Ronaldinho was more into partying than playing football since the very first day he moved to Barcelona. He barely trained with the rest of the team. When he was not in the dance floors or sunbathing in the beach, he was the best player of the world and then he threw it all away. Messi is a different story. If injuries respect him, he will probably be one of the greatest in the history of football.

I won't argue he's a great player for Barcelona. fantastic. and still very young. he has a huge future ahead. but yet he's still to prove all that with our national team. if he's the greatest player in the world he should adapt to play with the rest of players, not expect like a spoiled child to everything turn around him. when he plays for argentina, he plays for himself. like he doesn't want to be there, like he feels nothing for our colors. and I'm not the only one who gets that impression while seeing him play. he has a great opportunity in the WC to prove us all wrong. and no, he's not God

When you have a team that isn't as good as it has been in the past and you have someone a good as messi, you build the team around him. Just like Maradonna in 86'. Maradonna doesn't seem to know what he's doing judging by the qualifying.

oh gosh, maradona is the worst coach we've ever had. he's totally clueless. wrong system/right system, whatever you want, Messi needs to want to play with us. hopefully when the WC gets closer he'll have more motivations
